The billionaire heiress of In-N-Out Burger said she is leaving California due to her ongoing issues with the Golden State as the company plans to branch out.

Lynsi Snyder, 43, revealed this week the company plans to move eastward and she is relocating her family to Tennessee after a slew of battles with left-wing policies of Governor Gavin Newsom.

'There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here,' Snyder said on Allie Beth Stuckey's 'Relatable' podcast.

The prices are inexpensive for the good food it is.

That’s why the lines are always so dang long.

Correct.

And there is of course the compound-double referative “Youse All”...

Didn’t California pass a law that allowed the state to continue to tax these companies, billionaires, and millionaires that flee the state?

There was some talk about doing it a few years ago, but it didn't gain any traction. California tried taxing retired state workers that moved out of state way back in the day. Federal law passed in the late 90's quashed it. Obviously if you still have business interests in California, your going to pay taxes.

Mostly-conservative Knoxville will go bonkers for In-N-Out. They’ll see it as a kind of homecoming and will pack the drive thrus like they do Chic-Fil-A. It’ll be like the Chic-Fil-A of beef.

.....relocating her family to Tennessee....

I lived in Tennessee about 13 years. Excuse me if I don't get all misty eyed about another Kalifornia billionaire moving to a purpleish on-its-way-to-blue state. She's moving to Franklin. Back in the day was solid conservative. But close enough to Nashville to stink of liberals.

No, it’s Franklin Tennessee which is beautiful. Stunning in fact. I haven there a couple of times. Just beautiful. She knew where to go.

Yes, it is. It is also infested with leftists. It's one of the blue dots in the otherwise red Tennessee.

Texas can reach Memphis on a stretch

The Franklin TN distribution will reach

Birmingham
Atlanta
Knoxville
Louisville Lexington
Evansville
Tupelo north Miss

This is how they do it

Plant one and branch out around it usually 250 mile radius

I know a fellow who is a tech refugee from California
He forked over around 25m for a few hundred acres near desirable leipers fork sw of Franklin

Came with nice barns and a plantation house and some out buildings

Off Carters Creek

He’s making it a working farm

Cows Horses and hay and some truck farming crops

He’s around 55

Friend of mine is his defacto farm manager

A fair amount of that around here

They also go to the Arrington area se of Franklin

The governor had a famously hands-off approach to the pandemic.

Not true.

Newsom shut down California's restaurants right before he and his buddies went to the $200/plate French Laundry in Napa and ate inside. Newsom also closed down the schools, we were told "two weeks"- which turned into a year.

Many restaurants did not recover - my California town is full of empty restaurants closed during COVID that never re-opened.

a report last year that revealed from 2020 to 2024 over 500 companies had either left California or opted to expand their operations elsewhere.

Good going Newsom, as businesses and productive citizens flee to Tennessee, Texas and Florida with their tax dollars.

Maybe you can tax those illegals you favor so much - and just gave $12B worth of free Medi-cal to.

As for the $20 minimum wage for Fast Food workers that will "help them enter the middle class" - according to Newsom:

A report from March 2025 indicated that California lost 16,000 fast food jobs since the passage of the wage law.

What happens when you either ignore or do not understand Economics 101 - the non-Marxist version.

Every fast food joint we go into in California now uses Kiosks for ordering.

THEY CLOSED THE STOCKTON, CALIF LOCATION THIS SPRING DUE TO CRIME IN THE AREA. IT WAS NO LONGER SAFE FOR EMPLOYEES TO COME/GO FROM WORK.

SHUT IT DOWN....ONLY ONE EVER SHUT DOWN

They send fresh live crab & shellfish from Alaska all over the US by air. Beef travels far better and its dead. No need to freeze the beef to send it across the US.

Well, all she has to do is make a big campaign contribution to Newscum — like the CEO of PanerBread did . Then Newscum will issue a waiver of the mandated $15 - 20 minimum wage that the legislature mandated for all fast food joints.

This is the basis of all collectivist polities — gimme or I will make you suffer.

"Could one of y’all tell me what “ya’ll” means?"

You all. Which I've always thought was odd because that colloquialism is a contraction in itself. And there are people around here that will deconcatenate, as it were, and say, "You all.", because "Ya'll" is indicative of a hick. And that too, makes no sense.
