Thanks for the link. What an excellent video to show exactly that the leftists of today are the fascists now. I’m a big history buff, and have been reading many resourced books on the rise of the Nazis party, Hitler, and officials of the Third Reich. The commies and fascists today are one and the same. Not much separates them, as not much separated them back in the 30’s. The Nazis basically didn’t like the commies because they had jews in the party. Hitler even said that Stalin didn’t do socialism well, and that he was going to bring his own form of socialism to the German people. He also said that it would take them a while to accept it, but that eventually they would, and learn to like it.

Over 20 years ago I trolled Democratic Underground.

I took passages from Hitler’s book, Mein Kampf, and would post them in DU. I needed to hide the fact that these were Hitler’s words, so I would make a few cosmetic changes to the passages without changing the narrative of the passages.

The only changes I made was if the passage had the words Germany or Reich, I would change that to America. And if it had the words Jews or Jewery, I would change that to conservatives or conservatism. The remainder of the words I left alone.

Then I would watch for threads to post Hitler’s own words in. I wanted the passages to be on topic. So, if the discussion was about economics, I’d post Hitler’s own words about economics. If it was about war or foreign policy, I’d post Hitlers words about war or foreign policy, etc.

The DUers ate it up, agreeing with me, complimenting me, one DUer said I wrote just like Bill Clinton! I cant recall anyone criticizing or disagreeing with me.

I posted about a few dozen times over a couple of weeks before I found myself banned and my posts deleted. I don’t know who reported me or how they found out what I was doing. But while always denouncing the right as fascist and the reincarnation of Hitler and his Nazis, they didnt directly recognize the similarities between Nazism and their liberal ideology.

The difference between fascism and communism is the fascism gives the pretense of private ownership; yes you can own your own home but we ‘’the state’’) will tell you how to live in it. Yes you can own your own factory but we will control the production process and determine what, if any, profit you will make.

Communism makes no pretense of any of this. But both systems allow no private ownership of your thoughts, your speech , personal papers, etc.

Some few years ago I tried reading “Mein Kampf’’.
I had to stop after about 200 pages because outside of an obvious hatred of democratic forms of government and Jewish people I had no idea what in the world that moron was talking about.

In all the words that I did up to about page 200 the only two Hitler got right in “Mein Kampf’’ were his name.

But the question was a time travel question, "if you could go back in time and kill baby hitler, would you ?"

Most everyone was yes, absolutely. But one respondent said absolutely not ! I would take that baby, and care for him, and make sure he never had to live through all that hell life had in store for him.

Yep. Hitler allowed private ownership of factories, but those in power determined the extent and direction of the production process.
