The mainstream media, print and broadcast, has largely ignored the fact that FOX News recently achieved an unprecedented milestone in the 75 year history of U.S. commercial television.
FOX News not only has more viewers now than the other two mainstream cable news channels combined (Trump Derangement Syndrome channels CNN and MSNBC), but also for the first time is outranking the three major legacy commercial broadcast networks that also suffer from TDS (ABC, CBS, and NBC).
As FOX News Media announced in a news release on July 15:
During the week of July 7–13, FOX News Channel (FNC) averaged 2.4 million viewers in prime time leading all broadcast networks for the third consecutive week including NBC (2.2 million viewers), CBS (2 million viewers) and ABC (2 million viewers). Since Memorial Day, FNC has commanded 3 million viewers in weekday prime time, which also leads all of television including ABC (2.9 million viewers), NBC (2.4 million viewers) and CBS (2.1 million viewers). FNC is outpacing the broadcast competition in weekday prime time since the official start of the Summer on June 20.
This striking development comes within the context of the audience for traditional broadcast and cable television having declined to its smallest percentage of people watching video in the history of the U.S. television medium.
On July 15, 2025 The Hollywood Reporter reported:
For the first time since Nielsen began tracking TV use by platform four years ago — and probably the first time ever, considering broadcast’s dominant place for much of television history — over-the-air networks accounted for less than 20 percent of viewing in June. The ratings service’s monthly Gauge rankings show broadcast at 18.5 percent for the month, down from 20.1 percent in May.

Doesn’t MAGA hate Fox News?
I don’t like them anymore. I ditched Fox news a couple years ago. Now watching Newsmax for my main news and commentary. I don’t miss FNC one bit.
MAGA likes certain hosts but if you watch say the 5 and see how they allow Jessica Tarlov to just lie herself silly and never correct her they don’t like others
Why is it that Newsmax isn’t taking the place of Fox? (I’ve been watching Newsmax since the 2020 debacle.)

That happens on Newsmax at 10pm on Chris Plante’s show. Their token lib is Jason Nichols and they never call him on his blatant lies.
Faux news jumped the shark years ago and are about as annoying as that baby shark tune.

If FNC is growing it’s because they’ve moved to the left and now are attracting some of those that CNN and MSDNC have lost because they put lunatics on the air.
Fox is the channel of GOPe. It’s hostile to MAGA.
She just goes off on easily disproved stuff snd never ever gets called on it. Maybe they think the audience thinks she’s stupid but it does them no favors
I haven’t watched Fox News or any news programming on any platform since 2008 when Obama got selected. I actually stopped watching them back in 2000 after they called Florida for Gore before the polls in The Panhandle closed. I only went back after 9/11, and then watched them intermittently until Obama came on the scene. I couldn’t stand to see his face or hear his voice whenever I turned the channel on.

I watch Fox and Friends, the noon show, the Five and Gutfeld.
Also watch Newsmax and a few others but no MSM and haven’t since Gulf War one.
Watch whatever you want, knowing BS when you see it is the key.
It’s not going to be. At most it’s gonna be MSNBC of the right. Most people want to see different views now and then.
Fox free since 11/3/20. Never coming back
FAUX News makes a few conservative-friendly comments now and then, but they are clearly not working in the best interests of the MAGA agenda. Not to mention, they hire female on-air reporters and pundits whose voices make my ears bleed.
I quit them years ago, after having been a faithful viewer, once I caught in to their real game.
