We have no clue. There is far more creative writing in college physics departments than their English counterparts.
An astronomer was once asked how many galaxies were out there. He said, think of it this way……draw a bubble bath. Every single bubble is a galaxy. It really put it into perspective for me.

How do you hide a galaxy?
Stripped of dark matter AND stellar mass? So what are these galaxies comprised of? Disks hydrogen? Black holes?
The Milky Way is surrounded by Galaxies of Mars Bars. Why Not?
We literally cannot see anything on the other side of our galaxy..................
All those neutrinos have to be going somewhere............
But there’s water on Mars.
Cosmic cataclysm only really comes home to roost if you ask AI two questions:
1) How far away from our Solar System is the nearest star?
Answer: Alpha Centauri is 4.3 light years away
2) How many stars are within 20 light years of us?
Answer: 131, in 94 stellar systems (double or triple star systems (like Alpha Centauri)). This is the known count. Darker stars might exist in that 20 light year sphere undiscovered.
Worth a thought when reading articles about thousand and millions of light years distance.
I was going to wonder if Snickers was orbiting Mars…
They’ve simulated and calculated where mass might be concentrated. That method was used to locate our outer planets.
Lets see if this time they can find the equivalent of Uranus...
