Israeli settlers set fire to St. George Greek Orthodox Monastery and the Christian cemetery in the Christian village of Taybeh, West Bank.
This is the place Christ sought refuge in John 11:54 before His passion and death called Ephraim.

No, even according to the Jerusalem Post, these acts are being committed by Jewish “settlers”.
Not quite;
"citing a statement released by the priests of the community.
In their statement, the priests of the churches of the last Christian town in the West Bank, Father Dawood Khoury, Father Jacques-Noble Abed, and Father Bishara Fawaz,
Calling the town Christian is problematic in that the Moslem families in the town are growing faster than the Christian families. There was a problem with the neighboring Moslem town and the Christians seem to be so cowed they pledge they and the Moslems are one family; hardly makes for a Christian town.
From Wikipedia: After the 1995 accords, 35% of village land was classified as Area B, the remaining 65% as Area C.[42] According to ARIJ, Israel has confiscated 393 dunam of land from Taybeh for the construction of the Israeli settlements of Rimmonim, and 22 dunams for Ofra.[43]
In September 2005, hundreds of Muslim men from Deir Jarir torched homes in Taybeh in response to an affair between a 30-year-old Muslim woman from Deir Jarir said to have been romantically involved with a Christian man from Taybeh.[44]
Taybeh residents called the authorities to intervene, the Israelis arrived first but they watched and did not intervene. Palestinian policemen arriving from Ramallah were held at an Israeli checkpoint for three hours, and were only allowed to pass after constant calls from the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.[45] Despite the incident, the neighboring towns continue to have healthy relations; residents say "the people of Taybeh and the people of Deir Jarir are one family".[44]

Yes. “Why the simplistic extremes?”
I said something the Israeli government was doing that was bad AND the US government was doing that was bad. Yet, you ask why do I hate Israel? Why didn’t you ask “Why do you hate the United States?”, as well?
Do you see your cognitive dissonance now?
I don’t hate Israel. (Why do I even have to say this?) I merely criticized (a piece of) their government, and added that no one should fawn over them because of misinterpretated Bible passages.

False; what you wrote,
"But the Israeli government, oh, they are pure as the wind driven snow."
was not something the Israeli government was doing that was bad but a scornful attack that speaks of an agenda. Tell the truth.

As I said before, this isn’t the first time they messed with the Orthodox Christians, so I find the denials less than credible.
Ok fanboy, give me a couple of actions the Israelis have done that you view as less than moral…

Those Orthodox have made a covenant with the Moslems who are the enemies of Israel, so I find the outraged advocacy less than credible.
Ok fanboy, …
Hatred for Israel is a mortal sin (Balaam, Haman, etc.).
Exodus 3:15
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Romans 9:25-29
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

They are not Israel anymore, they abandoned the Path to God. They are virtual apostates. They deny and reject Jesus AND the Holy Spirit. As you know rejecting the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin. Yet, each one of them can be born again through baptism. God does not want us to support the wayward. St. Paul says to shun the disbeliever (after attempts to correct them). Shake the dust from your sandals.
There is a reason Pentecost happened on Mount Zion, because WE ARE ZION. Three thousand were converted that day on Mount Zion. All the baptized constitute Israel/Zion. Those first three-thousand are the start of the New Exodus in Christ.
All the Christians left Jerusalem by 70AD, they were saved and the old destroyed.
God commands that we support Christendom.

Well, clearly I was wrong. I guess one has to live there to really appreciate all of the forces at play. It seems like everyone is against everyone.

I’ve rarely seen anyone but a Moslem be such a raving antisemite. I would guess a Philistininian who subscribes to some branch of Christianity. If you had the Holy Spirit you would love Israel and the Jews in the Diaspora. Do you recall what happened to Balaam and Haman ?

Let me guess, you get a high from calling ppl antisemitic. As I am a son of Shem (an ancient European branch (IJK)), nice try.
As for Judaism, Christ commanded us to convert ALL nations. To say to the Jews, you are fine, you don’t have to convert… you confirm them in their sin. That is not love, that is pure evil.
As for the nation of Israel (government), I want them to stop bribing/buying our politicians, stop stabbing us (and other Christians) in the back AND stop dragging us into forever wars. Do I want to Israel destroyed, NO. I am more than fine selling weapons to Israel, this alone constitutes support for Israel.
So, did you enjoy your time in the IDF?

As for Judaism, Christ commanded us to convert ALL nations. - Christ = Messiah = Biblical Judaism
- Messiah commanded His Jewish Apostles to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever He have commanded them: and to be witnesses to Him both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
- Later, He chose Saul/Paul to be His Apostle to the Gentiles.
- His Apostles commanded you "That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well."
- As for the nation of Israel, you despise them and it shows in your posts. This is not what the Messiah commanded. It breaks the 2nd Great Commandment.

Okay then… I am going to take Mark Twain’s advice and end this conversation. Just continue having a conversation with yourself.
