Two of my three roommates went on a diatribe this week about how Trump is ruining their lives. They’re convinced Trump and the Republicans are putting all Hispanics in cages, gutting Social Security and destroying the economy through high tariffs.
One listens to NPR all day. I didn’t realize the other was even politically active but both are Left Coast refugees.
The media is still blaming Trump for everything they can (including the floods in Texas) and misrepresenting his economic record. I don’t doubt the Democrats are having a big hand in this. They have nothing else to stand for.
You ought to just buy a house for yourself. ;^)
I have a friend that is also freaking out. I occasionally ask her if President Trump is still hiding under her bed, LOL!
I also tell her that I, myself, have survived (and thrived!) in America under EVERY president since JFK (1960’s). She has a house, a husband, vehicles, grandkids, a pension, SS, investments and travels the world extensively. (She wss TERRIFIED that they wouldn’t let her back into the USA after a recent vacation in Canada.)
Yeah. Her life has been SO BROKEN, SO UTTERLY DESTROYED by who is in the White House at any given moment in History.
