Unhinged Cop SPITS In My Face, Draws His GUN & I Get Arrested? UNREAL.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
The “journalist” was very provocative and the cop over-reacted.
Unfortunately, it creates lots of clicks.
If you ask or tell someone to get off your property, they should comply. End of story.
The cop may be corrupt but that’s another matter.
I don’t think he did. But if he did, he deserved it. He penetrated deep into his property, and when told to leave, he kept recording video content as he slowly backed out.
The video guy is a prick.
Yes, I fully agree with you.
What if one of these so-called 1st amendment auditors showed up at your home to harass or intimidate your family? One of them was recently shot after harassing a person and the jury found the shooter not guilty of any crime.
“And Sean was leaving as asked.”
No... he slowly walked away, making snide remarks, making content, mugging for his cameraman. He should have respectfully apologized and turned and walked away.
If you did the same thing the trooper did, I promise you that you would have been cuffed and hauled off to jail. Definite double standard.
I think you are the one that is wrong here. He looks for signs and if no sign posted, he goes in. He did fight NYPD and won because they said the whole precinct was restricted and he was arrested. New York State law allows people to film law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties, he was just inside the precinct and was arrested.
If you watch the video, when told to leave he started walking. Maybe not as fast as he could because he was talking to the camera but he was moving. No reason for the cop to go into the house then come out and pursue him with a gun drawn while spitting on him. If anything the cops made the situation less safe for himself by getting so close.
“He looks for signs and if no sign posted, he goes in.”
Fair enough. But when he gets to the house over 100 yards down a driveway, and is told he is unwelcome and leave...he slowly starts to leave, but keeps making content, mugging for the camera, smirking and mocking the guy. Sign or no... when the owner tells you to leave, it’s over. No continuing your activity.... you leave.
He has videos from many non-NYPD departments. He’s gone into several restricted areas and feigned ignorance. You can defend his actions all you like, but the truth is he’s a simple grifter who instigates for views on YouTube and civil litigation. If he actually cared about public servants and the first amendment he could’ve started a business to certify and train public servants on relevant laws. But he chose to go the quick and dirty YouTube route. I have zero sympathy for him even if he follows the letter of the law. He’s a scam artist.
He was. Never stopped moving toward the street. It is all on video.
first, learn to read. it’s not ‘sean’
second, the enemy has been inside the gate for decades. their goal is to destroy the country and has been since the early 60s. ‘defunding the police’ is one of their tactics. promote the rule of chaos whenever possible. hamstring the police is a typical tactic on the west coast. it doesn’t fly in red states and we’re not taking your bs any longer.
if you want to have first amendment rights then practice them elsewhere. pushing yourself onto someone’s private property claiming free speech? you’d be lucky if you weren’t fed to the hogs in some locations.
confronting an officer at home is a threat.
it says ‘we know where your family lives’
i’m amazed ‘sean’ hasn’t disappeared by now. then again, he’s in a blue state. he should try his schtick in a red state.
:)
What does the sign say at 5:24 (Private Drive)???? IMHO, that is a no trespassing sign if so.
I am on the State Trooper’s side, the man when told to leave is confrontational the whole way back, claims that he is off the property when not. Basically the “reporter” has to be pushed off the property.
Personally I take “private drive” as synonymous with “no trespassing”. Thus why the jerk didn’t record it better, he knew he was on private property that didn’t want visitors.
“But once the owner makes it clear you’re not wanted, it’s your duty to get off the property,”
He did get off the property immediately. He did have to walk backwards to leave as he said he wouldn’t turn his back on a madman with a gun, who has lied in depositions and lied in internal affairs investigations about him and even lied while backing him out of the driveway saying Sean threatened to kill him. And I’m sure the cop spit on him to elicit a response and create a chance to shoot him.
Sean trains several departments in de-escalation and knows the law. The charges for this were utterly comical to call for a $120K bond.
“No continuing your activity.... you leave.”
I know some of the history here. He kept filming for his own safety. He was already leaving when the cop ran back inside and came out with his gun. The cop was looking for an opportunity to off him. He even spit on him to try to get a reaction.
Sean’s fault
....And there is no law against going onto someone’s property knocking on their door to ask a question. Uh...reporters do it all the time and so salespeople and religious people....
You are correct and it is normally called “knock and talk” dont want visitors, put up signs...
