Residents in one of London's most exclusive neighbourhoods say their properties are 'unsellable' and are fleeing the area due to Labour's tax raids and out of control crime with 'mugging gangs' and Rolex rippers roaming the streets unchecked.
Multi-million pound mansions and townhouses on the wide leafy lanes of Knightsbridge and Kensington have fallen in value and are at the lowest levels for 15 years.
Since 2018, house prices in Knightsbridge alone have dropped by over a million pounds, costing on average just £2.6 million today.

60% of the residents are foreign born.
They can afford to vote with their feet.
The rest of the UK cannot.
Their Deep State has seen to that.
And I’ll bet their Deep State is excreting bricks thinking about what Pres. Trump will do when he visits in September.
Deliberately done. Hindustan own most of London now.
Who did ya vote for? STFU then.
I got two nice Rolexes in St Thomas one time. I’m afraid to wear them, what with all the bad boys about these days.
I don’t have anything near that nice but having anything remotely attention getting and able to enjoy is tough with an ever increasing number of people out there who have zero problems with stealing anything from anyone.
Your old man took her diamonds and tiaras by the score
Now she gets her kicks in Stepney
Not in Knightsbridge anymore
So don’t play with me, ‘cause you’re playing with fire
NYC in 5 years.
They’re muslims, Jim!
And unless the grace of God Almighty prevents it, the rest of the country as well.
NYC in 5 3 years if Mamdani gets elected And if he's elected New Yorkers will get what they richly deserve and what they've been asking for (voting for) as long as I can remember, and I was born during WWII. My only concern is that even more of them will flee taking their voting habits with them to places like Texas and Florida ruining those states as well.
Joseph McCarthy had it right.
It seems the Brits never learn. When I was in England doing my Ph.D. research back in the late 60’s, I got to know a “chemist” (pharmacist to us Colonials) quite well and we became close friends during my stay. Our wives and us would take day trips to parts of the Midlands and he showed us two chemist shops he was thinking about buying. Later he told us he wasn’t going to buy it and when I asked why, he said it would put him in the “Super Tax” rate. He said those purchases would put his income over £15,000 (about $32,000 US at the time), and the marginal tax rate rose to 98%!
This tax rate not only stopped him dead in his tracks, it ushered in a migration known as the Brain Drain from England. Early on, most (e.g., the Beatles, Richard Burton) fled to the Jersey Islands, as its residents weren’t subject to the tax. Seeing this, Parliament decided to tax the islands, too. Result: the brightest, most talented people in England left for other places in the world.
Stupid economic policies have stupid consequences, but that point seems to be over the head of most politicians...and its not unique to England.
Perfect reference.
Those ignorant of history deserve the results of their niave idiocy. Oh, well.
“ Stupid economic policies have stupid consequences, but that point seems to be over the head of most politicians...and it’s not unique to England.”
So true. Politicians are vastly in the game for power above all, and would rather rule by any means necessary, are happy to rule over dystopian hell-holes (like N Korea, or the UK) than lose their grip on the reins.
The well-being of the country they govern is always secondary, except in rare cases with leaders like President Trump who has the well-being of the United States as his primary goal.
London is dead.
Bet they did very little over the decades to keep this from happening.
He did ask me how we can drive big cars, because his large car is a Honda Civic. I told him that we love big. His wife loves our Ford Expedition.
