Trump said he’d release the remaining JFK files, and did so not long after taking office. The fact that there was no “smoking gun” in the documents isn’t Trump’s fault. The release didn’t give our conspiracy spinners what they’d hoped for, but nobody will accept it now.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled.
