Tucker hits conservatives: "Let's do the REAL stuff ..."
X ^ | July 12 | Tucker Carlson

Tucker hits conservatives for taking fake victory laps:

"You spend all day telling me that it's so important that boys not play on girls soccer teams or whatever. I agree. But I don't know, it kind feels like you're feeding me appetizers. At some point, I want to look around and see a better country. I want to see a country I recognize. I don't want to see people sleeping on the sidewalk. I don't want to see people ODing on drugs. I want to know where those drugs are coming from. Why can't you stop it? You've got the US military. Don't you have Seal Team Six? What are they doing today? Are you going to give me another segment about how impressive the US military is? Why aren't they employed to make my country better? Why are my cities disgusting? I don't even want to go there. It smells like weed and halal food. And you're lecturing me about how it's a great moral victory that I kicked the boys off the girls soccer team? Good. I'm so glad. But let's do the real stuff."

“Singapore values its public square and streets.

Our leaders do not.”

But who elects our leaders? Sadly the problem is that a big chunk of “we the people” have bad values and we ALL pay the price.

However, he is a bit wrong in regards priority. Permitting faux girls to play on girls’ teams is just one way in which we are allowing the normalization of perversion.

Yeah, yeah, if you are actually saddled with gender dysphoria (which used to be a mental illness until taxpayer $$ became available) that is sad and you should be able to fix that — using your own money.

But, that is not the issue here, TCarlson. The issue is protecting our children, especially from predators. If you permit play acting your gender and in so doing allow physical harm to real girls you are taking the next step to contend that if THAT is OK, then Luv is Luv. And, children can give consent.
That is the purpose of ALL of this rainbow crappola. Not codifying gay marriage. No. Normalizing ALL gender related activity — especially pedo.

Forbidding pretenders to publicly pretend was a fundamental step in protecting kiddies — which is fundamental to MAGA.

The problem, I think, is Congress. The GOP seems to lack coherence or the will to accomplish things under Trump. They don’t want to do the Carpe Diem thing.

The GOP is interested in making money. They just want to ride out Trump's term. Then it's back to business as usual.

That's why I'm willing to take a look at Elon Musk's America Party.

The trick for the homeless problem is what nobody has tried yet....encampments far away from civilization.

You're close. And what does one do with them when you get them there? How do you keep them focused upon doing something productive, learning a skill or taking responsibility for one's world?

It's doing the hard work of weed control and habitat restoration, with the opportunity to see native plant systems respond over a period of years. Whether it's hands on, fire management, application of herbicides, tilling, animal management, or predator control, it is the satisfactions and frustrations of the feedback that matter. It is the relationships that develop that matter. The most therapeutic thing of it is the quiet.

Sometimes outside observers are right, many times they are wrong. It means sometimes we listen to them, many times we should simply ignore them.

For me priority one is get the homeless far away from civilization so we can get our cities back.

Anything after that is just a footnote.

In principal I agree, but there are serious logistical problems with that, containment, feeding, handling poop, etc. gets expensive over big distances when the therapeutic aspects of the work can be obtained closer in. Getting control of fuels around developments for example at least has a significant economic benefits.

I’ve already disagreed with Tucker’s take here.

But the idea of the Constitution was to do the bare needed minimum, with the states (or below) to handle most domestic stuff.

The Deep State was behind both Obama and McCain. They both were in on the scam. Poor
Sarah Palin wasn't let in on the secret, and she played to win. And they kicked her to the curb.

How is it possible to get anything so wrong? He was referring to going into Mexico and taking out the cartels.

Right, because when a mexican cartel is destroyed, no new ones would take their place.

“Right, because when a mexican cartel is destroyed, no new ones would take their place.”

Well, yes, genius, that is the way it works in this world. So, take the next group out too. That thins out their ranks.

Or, we could bring them to the negotiating table and establish their authority. Yes, that is the ticket.

Or he desires it but knows that they have to have everything at ready at once when they finally bring the hammer down. The civilian courts can’t be trusted - and especially civilian courts in DC and NYC. That should be evident to everybody by now. Seems like there are 2 ways to sidestep DC and NYC: file conspiracy charges in a place where part of the conspiracy occurred that isn’t DC or NYC, or find that the US government has been taken over by belligerents via extortion and try all the belligerents in a military tribunal.

The military tribunal would be preferable, IMHO, because they can sequester the people hearing the cases (and their families) so that they cannot be contacted by the Deep State/intel community that has our whole society by the jugular.

Either way takes time, and the case has to be built up and ready before it is disclosed to anybody, or the Deep State will take out witnesses, compromise the chain of custody of evidence, take out the investigators, etc.

I do believe that this is what is causing the delay. John Solomon hinted that in the next couple weeks there will be news that MAGA will be happy about, implying it’s about a criminal conspiracy investigation regarding the whole decades-long plot to neutralize Trump. I guess we’ll see. I would like them to go back farther, to at least 2008 when the Deep State fabricated records and committed other crimes to get Obama into the White House even though he was ineligible. We eventually have to deal with all that crap, or the general public won’t understand how we got here and the necessity of the accountability that you mentioned. And the country can never be united until everybody recognizes the coup we’ve suffered, the players involved, and the enabling activities of even people who didn’t realize there was a coup.

Or maybe he plans to balance the budget by raising tax revenues through a super-charged economy. That’s what his tariffs and the bringing in of trillions of dollars of manufacturing all seems geared to do.

If the people who call themselves by God’s name will humble themselves, repent, pray, and seek His face, He will hear from Heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.

That is the single biggest thing that stands in the way of this land being healed. The people who call themselves by God’s name don’t care what He says. When that changes, the country will change. The religious beast of Revelation is alive and well in America’s churches, synagogues, and mosques. And the governmental beast is all over the place - not the least of which is in our judges’ chambers.

The most important things any of us can do are to be in our Bibles and on our knees.

You are absolutely right: it was without any doubt a coup. And that demands accountability.

I’m concerned that the Comey/Brennan investigation is just another fake DC investigation designed placate the conservative base. We’ll see eventually I guess.

As an aside but somewhat related, Trump told us that he woudl provide an explanation for the drone activity that had everyone so worked up. That explanation was never provided. All we were told was that it was authorized “research”, which really tells us nothing. Not saying we have to know every detail, just that this explanation doesn’t even come close to what he promised us.

There’s a pattern of evasion that’s is becoming hard to ignore.

I agree on all of what you said.

I know that Trump has a lot of really serious irons in the fire right now. I’m hoping that his strategy is to deal with the big stuff and then get to the smaller stuff when the country and world are in a more secure situation.

He’s tackled financial stuff and the courts first - the courts in the process of trying to tackle the illegal immigration system which drastically affects elections, public safety, and finances. He’s also trying to end the Ukraine mess, to neutralize Iran and Hezbollah, and to bring solid, long-lasting answers to Palestine. That’s a pretty full plate. And he’s got the entire world cabal against him. I’m willing to give him some time. The Epstein thing, for instance, has the potential to cause WWIII because the entire world’s system of “intelligence” may be tangled up in the corruption. And if that happens we’re going to need all our security and means of production beefed up first - which is he is working on at this very minute. I think they know there is an order in which things need to happen. There’s also the midterm election coming up which could throw everything they achieve out the window because of the belligerents in Congress. So it’s a very complex job. I don’t have the smarts or knowledge to figure it out and probably Trump doesn’t either, which is why I’m praying that GOD intervene, because He definitely DOES, and He’s the ONLY ONE who does.

Trump is dealing with enormously complex issues. No doubt about it. Its an overwhelming and exhausting job, and to your point one that requires extraordinary planning (i.e., the order in which things happen).

For all of Trump’s skills and smarts, he sometimes overestimates himself. Some might say its part of his negotiation technique, 3D chess, or some forward thinking we can’t appreciate but he has struggled with at least two things: his ability to quickly stop the conflict in Ukriane and his ability to quickly reach tariff deals (90 deals in 90 days). He may still be able to achieve both but he clearly underestimated the complexity of those challenges.

Not bashing him for that; just saying he creates big expectations and that can be problematic at times.
