You’re going to have a hard time keeping up with reality. Elon Musk announced grok 4 last week. All the bench marks show its more powerful than all the other. Musk says its now smarter than all phd’s in all disciplines. Tests have shown that it has aced all the big complex tests that all the disciplines have to offer. Musk says that more powerful models are coming with Grok 5 expected in early 2026. Musk says starting later this year there will be many new breakthroughs in science and technology. He expects a new physics by late 2026.

This is a good read! I had a thought about this being the first chapter though. Assuming that this is the only place that your character exists in the story, and it kind of lays the foundation for the rest of the story, wouldn’t it work better as a prologue rather than chapter 1?
