Depending on the nature of the class, this still is better than a bunch of individual lawsuits because an adverse decision against the class may prevent other actions. You get one case, but you don’t get fifty where the government has to win every single one.

I don’t know about that. Class action status was granted for the babies only, not the parents. I would think they have standing.
