This SITREP is on the Democratic Socialist Party of America (DSA). I’m writing this because of the upcoming high profile NYC Mayor’s race featuring the marxist socialist candidate, Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani is a member of the DSA and he must not be taken lightly as some “nut-job” because of his political views.
NYC residents and all Americans who care about the future of our constitutional republic must take this guy and many others (some already serving in Congress) very seriously. I have been speaking out about the dangers of the DSA for many years, and they are only growing in power and influence here in America.
First, Mamdani is a member of the DSA.
The DSA is anti-American and works in concert with America’s enemies around the world. Its basic platform (see below) seeks to destroy America and wants its opponents to rise (CH, RU, IR, VE, NK, CU).
DSA’s Political Platform includes the following:
1. Stand in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle and all that entails.
2. Support normalization of relations with the global communist alliance (see above).
3. End nationalistic posturing toward China.
4. Immediately withdraw from NATO.
5. Grant immediate and unconditional Amnesty for all illegal immigrants.
6. Reject the Monroe Doctrine.
7. Support self-determination and full sovereignty for all indigenous nations (within current U.S. borders as well as all other overseas territories controlled by the USA).
8. Immediately legalize all humans living in the U.S., including voting rights.
Essentially, the DSA’s platform calls for the total abolition of capitalism.
This DSA represents an existential threat to our republic.
That’s how braindead they are.
I agree, but I certainly do not want the Federal government bailing NY out after the policies fail.
ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL is how you manage the test tubes of our society. When a tube fails, toss it into the trash heap.

While I’m strongly in favor of all that, income and property tax caps in the state and federal constitutions to protect the middle class are needed. The electorate has been corrupted.
The well-to-do can always relocate. The doctors can go on strike.
Yes they are more open now with the infiltrating as in other things their party is on the death bed and calling all comrades to join in on the fight.
He’s quite likely to be elected. He presents a mix of sound ideas plus a broad mix of enticing voter bribes.
He also has too many opponents, some need to bow out in return for future positions. It’s better to be a police commissioner or deputy mayor than a loser.
And someone has said the city council is hard left too and likely to back his plans.
Communism has had its fifteen minutes of fame. Everyone knows the outcome. Anyone who espouses any communist platform at this point should receive an instant beat-down.

They misspelled “communist”. The easiest route to Islamic rule.
In 2007 and early 2008, a lot of people thought Obama was a joke with no chance. He was a “community organizer” after all.

I agree. Those reforms will need common sense leaders to enact. Did you notice POTUS cheer-leading for the elimination of property tax after his visit to Alligator Alcatraz? DeSantis is pushing for that. Common sense leadership.
If the GOP nominates another Juan or Milt, yes, we will elect another Communist like the Kenyan. 🤢
