She says it is raining where she is, but didn’t mention flooding in that area, thankfully.

They’ve rescued SO many Texans during these floods and hurricanes.

Yep…it’s been raining all day, sometimes quite hard. There’s street flooding around town and I’m staying put. I was supposed to go to a BBQ at some friends’ place in Georgetown, but they’re postponing until tomorrow, weather permitting.

I suspect the city’s fireworks over the river will also be canceled or postponed.

I’ve been checking the weather radar and it looks like a small “terrestrial” hurricane in the hill country. Very tight cyclonic rotation and cloud bands I’ve only seen over the ocean . Really weird.
