A Navy veteran and father of four was shot and killed during a bizarre broad-daylight shootout with Texas cops โ in which he appeared to be goading the officers into firing at him in early June, newly released bodycam footage shows.
Salvador Valdiviezo, 35, was killed while a female officer was injured on June 1 after two cops with the El Paso Police Department responded to a family violence call in the residential neighborhood.
The officers encountered an armed Valdiviezo in the driveway of the home. The female officer ordered him to put his hands up as he opened fire.
The startled officer yelped as she started firing back, supported by her male partner behind her, according to their body camera footage.
The officers zigzagged down the road before using a parked truck for cover. Valdiviezo stalked around the front of the car and out into the street as the gunfire resumed.

Trying to visualize what a shootout would look like were it not wild.
Mostly peaceful?
Heard that the Armed Forces contain a significant percentage of foreign nationals presently.
Was the Navy vet a US citizen?
And would things have been different in a limited daylight exchange? Journalists......
Texas is all about shootouts I saw some video when I was in TV news back in the 1980’s wilder than this from down around San Antonio.

Unfortunate. Wonder why he chose to check out this way?
Good question!
The male shot him.
Double tap to the ten ring.
Wishes for quick healing for the officer.
However:
I will to my death stand against allowing female law enforcement at ANY level. They are nothing but an ongoing liability to any agency.
Male officers will always be compelled to expend an inordinate amount of resources and time to protect them.
Even when measures are implemented to “force parity,” nature cannot be opposed.
Of what damned consequence is it if this dead law-breaker was a veteran or not?
I imagine that under the Biden regime, military recruits weren’t vetted particularly well!
I don’t think that the cops’ tactics in approaching the scene were conducive to their survival.
But all’s well that ends well.
Out in the West Texas, town of El Paso....
HEY BABY QUE PASO by TEXAS TORNADOS
I thought I was your only vato.
What way do you want to check out? Wasting away in a nursing home OR go down in blazing glory in a wild shootout? ODing on drugs OR dying of heat stroke doing a re-shingling on a roof? Voluntarily diving off of Hoover Dam OR getting hit in a crosswalk by a speeding DUI drunk?
I read a knowledgeable source that said the percentage of foreign nationals in the US military was about 3%.I read an knowledgeable source that said the percentage of foreign nationals in the US military was about 3%.
That was far less alarming to me than the 30 to 40% a Free Republic poster characterized it as.
I am absolutely, 100% against this method of obtaining citizenship. I know there are people on this form who disagree with me, and I understand and respect their point of view, I just wonโt change my point of view on this.
Suicide by cop unfortunately a phenomenon.
