What is Vegan?

A vegan diet is a strict form of plant-based eating that excludes all animal products and by-products, such as meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, and honey. Some products, such as refined sugars and gelatins, are excluded due to the use of animal products during processing.

Vegans rely on plant-based foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, to meet their nutritional needs.

Common motivations for adopting a vegan lifestyle include ethical concerns about animal welfare, a desire to reduce environmental impact, and the pursuit of health benefits associated with a plant-based diet.

What is a Vegetarian?

A vegetarian diet is a less restrictive form of plant-based eating. It excludes meat, poultry, and fish while allowing for the consumption of some animal-derived products.

Like vegans, vegetarians often adopt this lifestyle due to ethical concerns, environmental sustainability, and health benefits

Been perusing vegan sites for vegan "treats" for the 4th of July, and yeah they are promoting plant based burgers and hot dogs which taste like excrement, but how does one make a cake without eggs and milk.

JMO, I think Biden or his lackeys with the autopen caused the egg crisis and drove the price of eggs through the roof.

I’ve come to the realization that tofu is overrated.
It’s just a curd to me.

Correct! They will tell you. Over and over. And question the food you’re eating while they’re at it.

After observing both in action:

Vegetarian: can be healthy if they are doing it right.

Vegan: probably slowly wasting away and often have other contributing mental problems.

“They will tell you.........................”

They will advertise it on their T-shirt
Hand you a promo card.
Berate you and your 5 year old to your faces for eating meat
Invade your property and harass you for a BBQ
and on and on.

Because they are so smart, so caring, and just so much better than you.

It’s not worth thinking about the difference between vegan and vegetarian. They are both ways people try to get attention. They are always better than everyone else They care more

I dislike cheesecake because I don’t like cream cheese.

However, in an ironic twist, I once had a vegan cheesecake that was made with almonds or something and was fantastic.
