500th Falcon 9, 29th flight for this booster, rest of stats are found about 50 minutes into video, and about 68 minutes.

Whoops, SFN's usual stats are actually about 1:11:10. At the rate of launches, they'll beat last year's numbers by about 30-31 launches, and at this rate of increase should reach 1000 (their second list of 500 launches) by or before this time in 2028.

Wait till they start launching on Starship.
Then satellites launched will skyrocket.

Starship is really the only way they’ll get to the numbers of operational Starlink satellites they want.

Something like that ... at 23 or so birds per launch, and a relatively short lifespan, the math just isn’t there. Even so, they have a useful and profit-making system. It just needs a bigger launch vehicle to achieve its full potential.

Apparently the Starship that blew up the other day had a problem with its composite liquid nitrogen tank, and that all of them are suspect, as the people hired to handle them couldn’t shovel manure across a barnyard.

Meanwhile, the next static fire is said to be coming relatively soon:

Supposedly SpaceX/Starlink would go bankrupt unless the Starship got operational by December — in 2023, or 2024, maybe even 2022. Starlink version 2 is a bigger but much more capable sat; the one currently going up 23 to 27 at a time aboard the F9 is a more advanced and smaller version of version 2, which is great, because it’s clear that Starship is the most difficult thing SpaceX has attempted, by far.
