Back in the 60’s (English invasion, James Bond, etc.) they were cool fast cars, especially the xke’s.
XJ6 was nice...wood and leather...but they got usurped by other cars. Prince of Darkness ( Lucas electrical) kit did not help the car. Jaguar now owned by Indian car maker(Tata motors)
