Friday is #July4th, when we celebrate America’s independence and the documents that made America different, like the Constitution.
But is our Constitution good enough today?
NO.
No. The Government needs an overhaul to bring it back inline with the express limits in the Constitution. The USC needs to be mostly gutted as a large portion of the crap that has been added to it is blatantly outside the scope of the US Con.

Following what it says would be a good start.
I’d happily get the 5.5” U.S. Constitution floppy and do a fresh install before we stated patching the hell out of it. I don’t believe the Constitution needs an overhaul, the electorate and the elected officials need one.

The answer is NO.
It’s been “overhauled” 27 times already. There’s a clear process for “overhauling” it.
It is the most brilliant concept for self-governance ever created by Man. It is timeless and adaptable via the amendment process. Its biggest achievement is holding government at bay (even though it is not doing as good a job as I would like in that regard). The Founders never anticipated the rise of a Fourth Branch, the Regulatory State.
Yeah, we need George and Alex Soros and all the other foreign billionaires to have a new mission to reign Hell down on the US.
I’d be happy to see the 16th and 26th amendments repealed.

Our Constitution was inspired by God. The notion of changing our Constitution is idiotic, much like trying to change God’s written word, the Bible.
That said, we are witnessing the Methodists, Presbyterians, Anglicans, etc trying to do just that….and they are splitting up, fracturing and blowing away into non existence for it.
Proposed Amendment 28:
Christ Jesus, the only and eternally begotten Son of the Father, is King.
Our Constitution was designed for people who were self-reliant, responsible, whose morality and behavior was not, at its root, prescribed by law, but by the Bible.
Its natural, now that the majority of our people (and our national ethos) have become secular, amoral, self-centered and materialist, that we would want a Constitution that falsely promises us more free stuff, and also attempts to have government social-engineer society in place of God.
Not overhauled but some amendments need to be added.
No lifetime tenure for federal judges including the USSC, and change the standards for impeachments
Defined birthright citizenship/clarify the 14th amendment
voter ID
eliminate the 17th
balanced budget
feel free to add your own
Also make some changes to citizenship and immigration. I would definitely include a provision giving states the right to control their own borders with other countries. The only exception would be Federal controlled border crossings.
Oh, and gives states standing to challenge the grant of any federal payments or benefits to individuals that are in violation of the law or Constitution.
Except for clarification of 14th Amendment:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States”
When an illegal gives birth in the US and then leaves, is their newborn subject to the jurisdiction of the US and for that matter if their parents stay and invite all their relatives to join them, are they then subject to the jurisdiction of the US? I don’t believe the founders ever intended that Amendment to be used for anything except give the freed salves the right to have the same freedoms as other natural born citizens enjoy.
