If you open carry, at least use a Safariland ALS or Bianchi locking holster.
Then you know when someone is fiddling with your piece. this guy was a nerd.
NERRRD!
Rewatching the whole thing slowly now- I see the dude in tank top had a piece under his armpit. The guy with the sweater an AR lol!
No riots or Al Sharpton raising cain?
;^)
That’s why you carry it CONCEALED or open carry in a certified holster. It’s idiots like this guy who make it hard for the rest of us.
Dumb ass. If they had shot him with his own gun it would have been a good example of natural selection.
When your stupid you need to put a free sign on things.
You’re right! This video has been circulating with that story, and I fell for it, too.
I found it very sad - not funny.
Now, we know the wrong story is circulating with the video.
The story is about a different man who was shot when his HOLSTERED gun was taken:
He was not the man in the video.
It’s sad to me... We don’t know how we’d react in a situation until it happens to us. I know many people whose immediate reaction was to chase people who grabbed something from them.
So, what happened to the man in the video? Is he OK? Does anyone know?
To keep someone from fiddling with your "piece", Mexican Carry is a must.
And his draw could be even faster - after he files off that cumbersome trigger guard.
That’s intentional, and is a part of the visual deterrence function of law enforcement. Most cops also have firearms retention training as well. Private citizens don’t
