I think the first to run it like a biz was actually Calvin Coolidge. Always wonder what would have been had he run again in ‘28.

@Rightwingmadman

Replying to @realDonaldTrump
The economy is looking so gorgeous, it may as well be wearing American Eagle jeans.

In total defiance of every somber, grim, gloomy, dismal expert forecast that it's supposed to be mired in the depths of a depression by now, the economy's booming. Due to the Trump tariffs,

inflation is supposed to be raging right now, but the only things raging are darling liberals because of a new ad for jeans. (Apparently, Democrats’ new master plan to win over the white female vote is to attack a commercial featuring a white female.)

The esteemed experts, after checking their sacred little graphs, charts, models and spreadsheets, had forecast that the economy would barely grow by 2% in the second quarter, so it surged by 3%, the economy apparently not yet informed that it’s supposed to be bogged down by a “Trump recession”. And by “Trump hyperinflation” DUE TO THE EVIL TARIFFS HE EVILLY IMPOSED!

For the record, the Commerce Department’s GDP report includes the value of all final goods and services the economy pumps out quarterly (though rumor has it, due to an expected sales surge, liberals want American Eagle jeans purged from the measure).

Almost all experts, mostly 10-year-olds, just like the financial press which runs to them for their latest warning about the coming Trumpmageddon, said grimly that every sign pointed to “raging inflation” arriving in the second quarter, so second quarter inflation was lower than in the first quarter, proving economists are as amazing at predicting as “climate scientists”.

(First quarter inflation was heavily skewed by a spike in January, when the beloved AutoPen was busy pardoning close relatives.)

The personal consumption expenditures price index in the second quarter rose by only 2.1%, a drop from 3.7% in the first quarter. Since the proper response to this news would be to lower interest rates, the Fed didn’t. “TOO LATE” Powell sees an inflationary trend just like lunatic liberals see the Third Reich in a jean commercial. (Powell has to go. Preferably, to lovely Alligator Alcatraz.)

Democrats spent four years pumping federal cash and deficits as life support into a patient obviously in a coma — the economy, not Biden, who had already checked out. But GDP growth so far this year has been private sector, or the part of the economy that produces things people actually want to buy.

The economic Nostradamuses who predicted just 2% growth spent all morning yesterday “explaining” that the economy is awesome only because of the “distortions” caused by the Trump tariffs. Just you wait! Recession ‘round the corner!

The same geniuses assured us we would be hauling wheelbarrows of worthless cash by now. “Experts” are apparently aiming to break Paul Krugman’s impressive record for being wrong. His takes were so consistently wrong, they gave him the Nobel Prize in economics just to get him to retire. (It didn’t work — he mistook it as a compliment!)

I heard about that statue unveiled at the Art Gallery of Ontario. The creator is black artist, Thomas J Price, from London, England, who named it “Moments Contained”. It was funded by a group of donors, the majority of whom are from Toronto’s Black and Caribbean communities. She looks angry to me, though I can’t figure out why the depiction of an angry black woman would be a nice addition to a city scape. Americans got their own statue of a defiant black woman back in February, when Price gave Times Square ‘Letitia James’, also known as “Grounded in the Stars”.

Stolen golf cart at Buffalo Airport

OMG! That’s the passenger assist vehicle that they use to help elderly and the infirm move around the airport. Buffalo is the airport I typically fly in and out of and I’ve been there about 100 times. The driver probably caused some damage to the passenger moving walkway or its acrylic sides by maneuvering the vehicle onto the walkway. I initially would have guessed it wouldn’t even fit so he’s quite the driver.

Absolutely nothing that she has done. She is doing everything wrong. No response on the fires or riots. The amount of homeless people she touted was due to 6,000 dying from fentanyl overdoses. We know her backstory going to cuba, leading a group to bomb the US Capital and Bill Clinton pardoned her. She is like so many dangerous Democrat mayors and Governors.

I’ve read that a skin sensitivity to DMSO can cause dry, itchy skin at the point of application so it’s possible that might not be the best use of DMSO. I can 100% attest that it’s been great for my routine muscle aches, at 70% concentration.

Kash Finds Trove of Sensitive Documents at FBI

The coverup of their crimes is confusing me. The crime is pretty bad, hiding the proof is also very bad, so why not just destroy the documents altogether to prevent there being any proof at all? Once you’ve committed the worst crime, I don’t understand making it possible to discover the crime, the players and the whole scheme by keeping the notes.

Im glad its working for you LL

the dry skin is a yearly thing with me, in the cold months. Muscle aches are not a problem for me, in pretty good shape overall, no prescript meds. I have to take a laxative, right now senna works pretty good and it is really cheap about $17 for a 1000 hits.

Yes, faith is a gift from God. But, we can preach the Gospel at all times and use words if necessary.

I’d like to say that muscle aches aren’t a problem for me. You’re lucky, and I need to get into better all-over shape. I thought I was in reasonably good shape until I started using muscles I hadn’t used before, or at least recently. I always had hundreds of flowers in my front yard gardens, installed by the same gardeners who took care of my business property. When I sold my business in March, I looked up the additional charge for adding my home garden to the annual business bill and decided I didn’t want to pay that money to make my home gardens look nice ($3500). So I chose and bought all the flowers this year and planted them all myself. It was back- and knee-breaking work, but I saved $2500. That’s what I needed the DMSO for. Next year, I’ll either get into better shape or I’ll start to transition my gardens from primarily colourful annuals to more perennial-based plants. That transition will probably take a few years though if I want to get it right by my eyes.
