A former co-worker and I have birthdays only a month apart. We were both raised in similar circumstances. He has never drank beer, wine, liquor or any alcoholic beverages, has never smoked - anything - but he does drink coffee. I am 70 and he is as well, except he looks 50................

Doctors have been railing against coffee for the last few decades and now this very positive study, which I happen to agree with. My Dad always said “If you smoke, drink, and are fat, you need to find a fat Doctor who smokes and drinks.”

I don’t buy one word of this Chinese agit-prop that it is targeting the American public with. They are turning everything completely upside-down and doing it well.
Caffeine is an alkaloid. Just like nicotine. And is just as hazardous and deadly to your long-term health. This fact has lomg been established in Western medicine.
China is all over the internet with bullshit claims about Western foods. Deliberate subversion.
Believe this poison pen crap at your own risk. China knows the West’s weaknesses and frailties, and is exploiting them.
