President Trump on Tuesday emphatically dropped an f-bomb, on camera, expressing frustration that Israel and Iran appeared to be violating the ceasefire that he just celebrated going into effect.

"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f*** they're doing," Trump said to reporters as he left the White House.

"Any chance you’re a veteran or a mechanic?"

No, but I am a former CEO, and if I seemed to others to be acting on emotion then I telegraphed that I could be manipulated through emotion ... =weakness.

To paraphrase a now-old saying from Star Trek ... "Dissatisfaction is a dish that is best served cold".

I remember that…the media was in a frenzy. Too funny.

W: There’s Adam Clymer, major league a**hole with the New York Times.
Cheney: Big Time.

“very pro-Trump, but using language like this is a sign of weakness.”

You sure about that !?
Do some research.

Honesty and Authenticity:
Some researchers suggest that using curse words can sometimes be a sign of honesty and authenticity in communication....

research suggests a correlation between cursing and intelligence, specifically verbal fluency and social intelligence. This doesn’t mean that swearing causes intelligence, but rather that individuals with larger vocabularies and better communication skills may be more likely to use curse words effectively and appropriately.

The idea that no gentleman ever swears is all wrong. He can swear and still be a gentleman if he does it in a nice and benevolent and affectionate way.

The rules are always a one way street for leftists. They apply to our side but never to them. As far as profanity goes we have it here on FR but usually with asterisks. Over at DU or any other leftist commentary it’s so ubiquitous it becomes background noise to them. It couldn’t function without it.

insofar as presidential gripes go, my favorite is President Truman’s response when a reviewer panned Truman’s daughter’s stage (singing) performance:

I could be wrong, but it seems that PDJT and Elon are similar re impulse control. (Not that I object to Trump’s reaction or verbiage, because I don’t.)

Could be a trait of successful people.

Trump is an amatuer ‘cusser’ compaired to Harry Truman and George Washington.

At the battle of Monmouth, he yelled profanities so loud at Charles Lee, that it was heard over a 1/4 of a mile away.

“Of course being a former Marine kinda inoculates me from it.......”

*********

I’m a Navy vet so believe me I get it. But personally, I just don’t see the need for it.

Years ago I had the privilege of working in a very large, high profile Navy program managed by an 0-6. Never heard any profanity from him despite the immense pressures of the job; total self-control and so respected on every level that swearing wasn’t necessary. And he wasn’t a particularly religious guy, just someone with total confidence and professionalism in what he was doing.

We had a Gunny that was also an ordained minister, I don’t recall which denomination.

But he had a plaque on his desk that read “Profanity is the sound of an ignorant mind trying to express itself.”

He did not allow profanity in the shop..............
