President Donald Trump issued a blunt warning to Israel on Tuesday to “not bomb Iran” as he departed for the NATO summit in The Hague, taking a critical position just 24 hours after brokering a fragile ceasefire already threatened after a missile strike from Iran.
Speaking to reporters before takeoff, the president said that both Israel and Iran had breached the terms of the truce and made clear he was “not pleased” with Israel’s promise to launch retaliatory airstrikes after agreeing to the deal.
Asked by a reporter about whether Iran had violated the ceasefire Trump replied: “They violated but Israel violated it, too.”
The president continued: “Israel as soon as we made the deal they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen. I’m not happy with Israel.”
He added: “You know, when I say ‘okay, now you have 12 hours’ – you don’t go out in the first hour just drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either. But I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because the one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot, perhaps by mistake, that didn’t land, I’m not happy about that.”

I believe it was necessary, and he did exactly what he said he would do: Iran will not be allowed to have nukes.

The situation in the Middle East is really not complicated and is concisely described as: "One side wants the other side dead"; most definitelly not a tenable "opening negotiating position."
Specifically, Iran's position (and they are not alone in holding this position) is that "lasting peace" in the Middle East can only be achieved when the state of Israel ceases to exist and the Jews annihilated.
If that’s an example of “absolutely berserk”, it lets me know what kind of bubble the East Coast betters live in. Lol
He was angry at both sides. Iran didn’t violate it, they got a last field goal right as the clock ran out on the game. It’s actually a poetic end to the thing, Israel launched their sneak attack a few hours before a negotiating session was scheduled. The words started with perfidy, and ended in profanity… Neither side eats bacon.
It is the consistent best strategy when you have an opponent who will not abide by rules or agreements. There is nothing childish about it, other that it is simple enough in practice that even children can figure it out.
Israel should hold their side of the cease fire.
Why?
Most of the rest of the world sees non-response to aggression as weakness, and it invites more aggression. Our moral posturing on such things does not matter in the slightest way. What "they" believe is what matters, and that does not change easily.
We are not "all the same" and we do not "all want the same things". Grandly asserting that other people will behave the way we believe they "should" behave is plan for disappointment.
It is also a potentially lethal mistake.

Israel understands Genocide, Hamas and Hezbollah have not had that happen to them. What has happened to them is Israel fighting back against their goal of destroying a whole race. Israeli’s.

Israel and the USA have every reason to defend themselves.
Don’t try to tell me that there have not been recent attempts to destroy the USA by foreign powers. Our insane alien invasion was done by those who seek to Destroy the USA and to rule the World.
