Iranian state television stopped broadcasting after an Israeli attack hit the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building in the capital, Tehran. The strike happened on June 16, 2025, as a presenter was live on television lambasting Israel. The presenter was seen hurrying from her seat, according to Iranian media reports and video of the incident, during which loud explosions could be seen and heard.
