Thank you very much and God bless you.
Amazingly, you can’t hear it until it is literally immediately over your head.
I had this happen while walking to an air show. The bomber was less than 200-300 feet over my head, yet, since I was walking to the stands, I didn’t begin to think it was there and swinging past early. It made little noise, even then.
I looked up to see what it was and it was a perfect view from directly below.
Amazing!
Too bad they only built 21.
Unreal the tech. It took them 37 hours to fly to Iran and back
I had a similar experience in Boston on the 4th of July many years ago. The planes shadow covered the street, I looked up, and the B2 was pulling away. Against the city noise, I didn’t hear a thing.
As I understand it, this crazy lack of noise is because all the air from the jets is funneled out the top back of the plane. Engines are apparently not exposed to the front or underside.
It’s amazing it can even fly.
Amazing. I can tell you that air show had little noise happening and was in a more rural area.
That plane is incredible.
And to think it was first made in the early 90’s. Think what tech improvements have done since then.
Batman owns one.
Can the B21 carry one of the MOPs? Can it carry 2, like the B2?
B-21s likely have more powerful engines and are only slightly smaller, so I’d go with yes.
B-21s are still 2 years away.
Run whatcha brung...
The B-21 will surpass it.
As opposed to the B-1, which will literally rip your ears off.
Only 21 is needed, apparently.
It must still be the policy of the US that the B-2 must remain stationed at home in the lower 48.
Could we ramp up assembly lines and make some new ones. Say 40 more? Are we even capable of this?

All B-2 Spirit stealth bombers were manufactured between 1988 and 2000. The first B-2 was publicly displayed in November 1988, and production continued until the year 2000. In total, 21 aircraft were produced: 20 operational bombers and one experimental plane. The first flight of a B-2 occurred on July 17, 1989, and the first operational aircraft was delivered to Whiteman Air Force Base in December 1993.
And the one that crashed during takeoff from Guam (which was the reason why the island didn’t tip over) left us with only 19.
That type of display of modern military hardware ended as soon as the crypto-Muslim took office. In the early 90's the Russians sent over a pair of MiG-29's. Beautiful planes.
