AIPAC is me.
Do you propose to somehow limit my First Amendment rights of speech (through a common organization), association, or religion because I happen to be Jewish? What of Catholics? Buddhists? Italians? Poles? No such level of concern?
Take your specialized level of concern for Jews and shove it.
I have a feeling that a lot of the posters on this thread would be outraged if Ted Cruz had raised $1.8M in campaign funds from CAIR instead of AIPAC.
Look at all of the NGO $$$ going to Dems, and, probably a few RINOs, that is destroying our country, from within ... this *should* be the first concern of conservative FReepers, over an American-Israeli alliance.
What is AIPAC ...
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a bipartisan, pro-Israel lobbying group in the United States. Its purpose is to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and Israel by advocating for policies that enhance Israel’s security and promote shared interests. AIPAC works to influence U.S. foreign policy through grassroots mobilization, education, and direct engagement with policymakers.
Mission: AIPAC’s mission is to encourage a strong U.S.-Israel alliance by fostering bipartisan support in Congress, ensuring Israel receives U.S. military and diplomatic support, and promoting legislation that aligns with mutual strategic goals, such as countering threats in the Middle East and advancing peace efforts.
