The education news outlet Chalkbeat recently highlighted a Denver, Colo. elementary school that’s teaching students as young as age 3 about environmental damage.
Mental-health professionals praise their efforts, saying the lessons can help prevent “eco-anxiety,” a “chronic fear of environmental doom.”
The mental-health industry’s logic is self-serving: Introduce kids to the idea of Earth’s demise, then step in to manage their worry.
Climate catastrophism has come to the classroom — and, as one educator put it, it’s “scaring the kids to death.”
Human beings aren’t born aware of our supposed environmental crisis.
The fear of climate change — and therapists’ capitalization on that fear — began with adults.
For several years, the American Psychological Association has published articles and warnings about the “significant mental health effects” of eco-anxiety, a pseudo-clinical “condition” it defined in 2017.
Since then, therapists report mounting requests from clients for climate-anxiety treatment — though almost no evidence exist showing climate-specific treatments work.
Nevertheless, professional therapist organizations like the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America, the Climate Psychiatry Alliance and Climate & Mind have proliferated.

No wonder kids are scared.
Practically every article on legacy media or liberal internet ends up with yet another problem with global warming.
Everything bad in the world, forest fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floodings, drought, wars, genocides, diseases, starvation, etc. are caused by Co2.
If I did not know better, I would be scarred to dead too.

Some may be wondering why their parents decided to have children when they knew the planet would die before they had a chance to save it. To have that to wake up to every day might make a kid wish they were never born; and the resentment they might feel towards their parents, grandparents and country for ruining it for them would be misplaced and undeserved. What a shame. They need to be mentored out of this darkness. “Gather ‘round kids, I want to talk to you about something called climate change...”
Oregon’s Legislature is set to pass a bill that aims to do this very thing. Must get the future climate hysterics indoctrinated as early as possible.

The schools teach that men can become women, and vice versa, by changing their minds. They teach American students to hate their country and to regard Western civilization as a cancer to be eradicated. They insist on the “nothingness burped and vomited up the cosmos” theory of creation, and that meaning, value, purpose, truth, reason and justice are objectively meaningless. They teach that we are naturally good and that unrestrained self-expression, self-actualization and self-gratification are entitlements: every man a god to himself. They teach that socialist thugocracies and islamic death cults are preferable to liberal democracies because failed cultures are oppressed and the culture that built the modern world is an oppressor.
Why shouldn’t schools teach that the world is about to end? It is as true as the rest of what they teach, and they teach ultimately that truth itself is meaningless so the question itself is irrelevant.

They also teach that conflict can be resolved by retreating to safe rooms and sucking their thumbs.

Good parents would tell their kids not to buy the BS, same as they with all liberal policies. You teach them the left are completely mentally insane, think men can be women , women can be men and not what you want to be.

Schools must stop teaching our kids. Period. There is no room in a Free Republic for government education nor compulsory education.
I am old enough to remember being taught a variant of this in NYC public schools in the 1960s. Then it was overpopulation and pollution rather than climate change.
That's right! There should always be a class of people who can't do math or speak their own language correctly. How else can you foster dependence?
Instead of trying to scare the kids, why not just tell them the truth. Then round up the wackos spreading this nonsense & teach them in a harsh way not to go around trying to scare little kids.
Quite a lot of liberals are not having kids at all, because that’s their “contribution” to “save the Earth”!
In some way, that’s good news, as there will be less liberals in the future, but it is weird!

It's because of compulsory government education that illiteracy in language and math has skyrocketed.
