Glad to have you on this forum, FRiend. I feel much the same way, though before FR, I never went to any specific site.
Now, FR is my jumping off point on news every day. I can go to dozens of links on one particular subject or incident, read the good and the bad, observe and participate in the debate, and see correct opinions crowdsourced up to acceptance, and faulty opinions crowdsourced off threads.
It isn’t perfect, but for me, I can use my brain and help figure things out. Can’t do that by watching the MSM, can you?

I love it here. Me too. My 20th year FR anniversary just went by (June 11). I declined to do a vanity thread about it, although I did consider doing one. When the time came, I felt I didn't have a particularly exciting story to tell. Maybe I will when I hit 25.
So I'm glad you did -- like many others on this thread, I wondered what "that other site" was. I enjoy your comments, keep it up!
