"Carbon dioxide, we’ve been told over and again, is the enemy that must be subdued if we are to avoid catastrophic global warming. It is, however, a faulty premise. Physics, not politics, tells us that man’s CO2 emissions will not cause catastrophic climate change nor an increase in extreme weather.
“The common belief that CO2 is the main driver of climate change and the EPA Endangerment Finding assertion that ‘elevated concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere may reasonably be anticipated’ to endanger the public health and welfare are scientifically false,” conclude the authors of a new paper.
Richard Lindzen and William Happer are not political hacks. They are serious researchers with extensive experience and robust academic backgrounds. Lindzen is emeritus professor of earth, atmospheric and planetary sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Happer a Princeton University emeritus physics professor. What they have to say is important in a world that is sodden with climate-related myths and folk tales.
While Democrats and their leftist counterparts in other advanced nations have gone to war on carbon dioxide, Lindzen and Happer argue that cutting CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050 and eliminating fossil fuel use “will have a trivial effect on temperature.”
How can they say this? After all, don’t 97% of scientists agree that humanity’s use of fossil fuels is causing our world to overheat? (They don’t, more on that later.)
Lindzen and Happer confidently make those statements because “unscientific evidence is the fundamental basis” behind the rush to net zero GHG emissions as well as the EPA’s claim that “elevated concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere may reasonably be anticipated to endanger the public health and to endanger the public welfare of current and future generations.”

My kids would bring this crap home from school. I'd ask them how writing a check to the government fixes it, what does fixed look like (hint, it's never "fixed") and name a government entity decommissioned after its core goals were met.

His most urgent policies (he even wrote a book on it) are Net-Zero, Carbon Credits, and CBDCs

Energy is the base of all wealth and money. Money is just a representation of expended energy we call "production." Debt is a claim on future energy.
Carbon control, net-zero, carbon credits, etc... are merely state-sponsored/banker control and counterfeiting of money at its source.
I would opine it was a good faith theory that was wrong, proved to be wrong, but immediately seized upon people who wanted money, power, and control, and is now a lie.
All of climate change is a false religion pushed on gullible fools with lies and false science to back it up.
What if? The whole climate issue is a scam to get control of energy stock piles and usage. Like all Psy-ops its based on something real. Pollution is bad. We would prefer not to have pollution. But CO2 is not pollution in most quantities. CO2 is made when anything dies. A leaf, an insect a person. Its made when something is eaten. Its consumed by every plant. Its a large part of every exhale. Its one of the most common molecules of life. The earth has both had much more CO2 in the atmosphere and far less. It gets trapped in Oil, coal, and gas. That CO2 had once been on the earths surface. And had once been part of a living being. If there is more in the atmosphere there will be more plants, more food, more land for humans and every other species. There will be more grass and more trees. To regulate CO2 is to regulate every person, business and country. Its a bad thing for the world. Every honest scientist who truly looks into the issue can see its a scam. When someone says differently they are selling their soul for grants or jobs, or they are too lazy to actually do the research themselves.
Same reason the military industrial complex is terrified of Israel resolving the Iranian threat.
Trillions have been made due to Iran’s threat.
Lots of power and control granted government due to the threat of terrorism.
They don’t want the main cash cow and source of power and control to disappear.
