Great story and appropriate comparison. Funny how often real events and life resembles science fiction from the past.
Missile Command was a ground breaking game. Full-color, nice graphics at “the end”, and really good use of the trackball. The strategy was very different from “Space Invaders” and its numerous clones, because multiple shots can be made, the explosions had a zone of destruction, but the number of anti-missiles was limited.
