Vice President JD Vance responded to criticism of President Donald Trump by isolationist right figures such as Tucker Carlson, who oppose America's support for Israel's operation against Iran's nuclear weapons program.
"Look, I'm seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there's a lot of crazy stuff on social media, so I wanted to address some things directly on the Iran issue: First, POTUS has been amazingly consistent, over 10 years, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Over the last few months, he encouraged his foreign policy team to reach a deal with the Iranians to accomplish this goal. The president has made clear that Iran cannot have uranium enrichment. And he said repeatedly that this would happen one of two ways--the easy way or the 'other"' way," Vance wrote on X.

He may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment. That decision ultimately belongs to the president. JD Vance is a well spoken loyalist. Just what the President needs right now. Each and every day we have these two men working together for us, is a Win.
No one is perfect or all knowing, but they fill the bill and then some.

Do you realize that Israelis are not currently allowed to leave the country?
Do you realize that non-Jews are not legally allowed to marry Jews in Israel?
Until very recently, all residents were required to carry an ID proving whether their race.
They are keeping a large percent of their population as second class citizens and restricting their freedom of movement/rights/freedoms/etc...
You can call them lots of things but you can’t call them a “democratic country”. They are a jewish ethno-state. I’m not even saying there is anything wrong with being an ethno-state. But let’s call a spade a spade.

This is a mélange of misinformation.
1. “The Israeli government has instructed domestic airlines not to allow Israeli citizens to leave the country on planes designated for the repatriation of Israelis stranded abroad. The decision stems from security officials’ concerns about overcrowding at Ben-Gurion Airport and the risk of mass casualties among passengers waiting to depart.”
In other words, to avoid providing a concentrated target for a missile attack.
2. Only religious marriages are recognized in Israel. Orthodox Jews don’t allow intermarriage or even marriage with Jews of questionable descent who have not undergone ritual conversion.
Surprise! Muslims don’t allow religious intermarriage except with Christian or Jewish women.
The way around it is to get married outside of Israel. If married outside its borders, the marriage is recognized once the couple returns. Tons of Israelis get married in Cyprus for that reason.
3. Currently, Israeli identity cards do not officially state a person’s race or ethnicity. In the past, there was a field for “nationality” that could indicate religious affiliation, such as Jewish, Muslim, or Christian, but this was later removed. While the civil registration database may still contain such information, it is not explicitly printed on the physical ID cards.
4. Arab Israelis are accorded full civil rights. Arab Israelis serve in the cabinet and have represented Israel in the Eurovision song competition and in Miss Universe. Arab Israelis play in all the professional soccer and basketball leagues and have represented their country in the Olympics and Para-Olympics. Arabs can serve voluntarily in the IDF. Two are currently officers.
Carlson and the isolationist wing of MAGA were not insignificant players in the 2024 campaign.
I would certainly expect the VP to do that but this situation is dicey.
Israel should defend itself, but the US has to step in to deflect the hatred aimed at Israel “The Jews” and take the punches that might come in response.
When one reflects one sees that whole scenario playing out.

Agree I believe they have seen how easy it is to fleece the low logic level of the left and how easy it is to cash in on their bogus ideas.

1.) Maybe that is the reason. Maybe not.
2.) Most Muslim countries aren’t democracies either. They are also ethno-states.
3.) Yes, I specifically said “Until recently”. The fact that they just quit putting it on the IDs but they still track it, proves my point.
4.) There are checkpoints throughout the country that restrict the movement of muslims. There are large portions of the country (Gaza/West Bank) that are under the control of the government where the people’s rights are restricted. It would be like if we kept Indians locked on reservations, wouldn’t allow them to leave, micromanaged what came and went, how much food they got, how much medicine they got, how much fuel/power they got, etc... I am not arguing that it isn’t in Israel’s best interest to do so. I am only arguing that they are not a democracy.
