Dad had Mom, Me & Sis to contend with. Female ‘cycles’ really DO sync up with one another when in combined spaces - like in a Zoo or a three bedroom ranch in the ‘Burbs, LOL!
We had a ‘Family Calendar’ in the kitchen where we would all write in things that we had going on that week so Mom could plan meals around us, car-pools, sports practices, etc. Dad would always highlight ‘that time of month’ and write something funny there that week:
‘Remember to stock up on Chocolate to soothe the Savage Beasts!’
‘If you need me this week, I’m at Murray’s Bar.’
‘Just say ‘Yes’ to ANYTHING they ask and remember to SMILE!’
I have ALWAYS contended that we need to ship boys off ‘somewhere’ once they hit Puberty...and then we can re-introduce them into Polite Society once they are 30 years old, or so.
Education is finished, they’ve had a few hard-working jobs behind them, know how to earn a living, they take CARE of their things, and they want to fall in love, get married and start a family.
In. That. Order.
An extended, ‘Finishing School’ sort of thing. Can’t hurt. Might help! ;)
How old are you?
Even if it looks and feels like a grimace...
Try throwing in a Teen Daughter into the mix. I can see the white hairs popping out every she opens her mouth. :)
They are good kids just.... full of energy.
It doesn’t help when I see Paul McCartney, Clint Eastwood et al, and my mental image still sees Dirty Harry and vintage Beatles.
That’s rough and I’m sorry. Take good care.
Good one.
My mirror laughs at me when I come out of the shower
><
Lol
I avoid looking in the mirror when I get out of the shower.
God bless you.
An early Very Happy 95th to you.

“Teen boys should be sealed in a barrel and fed through the bung. At 21 you can decide whether to release them or seal up the bung.” Unknown.

I’m 83 today. Other than overweight and bad knees my health is fair.
Husband is 86, but moves like a much younger person. He is computer savy and avid follower of rocket launches and aviation.
Aging is nothing to be afraid of if you are not in constant pain and are content with your life.
God bless you and your husband
Best wishes to you and your husband. God bless you both.
It hit me at 65
RA is a poison
I think that was Robert Heinlein in “The Rolling Stones” but he could have been quoting someone else.
In my best Clay Davis from The Wire
Sheeeeeeeeeeet!
I feel better and luckier and won’t complain
Damn dude!
Not Job, but still biblical
Traffic jams and supermarket lines.
