I’d scrub their toilet one time and leave a ring of superglue on the seat
Extreme “service” for extreme profit.
Only sociopaths would act this way. I bet the money was not earned, it was inherited.
Along with a nice little surprise on the floor of the bathroom if you get my drift.
I really despise such people.
That’s most likely true.
They’re all just a pack of hypocritical limousine socialistas.
Buyers are aware that luxury RE brokers in NYC get paid an exhorbitant rate by the buyers, so they look to squeeze what they can out of it.
“Nevertheless, most brokers agree that going the extra mile pays dividends.
“Nothing is beneath me,” said Zaitzeff. “I tell people that we scrub toilets for a living part-time.” “
Considering how much they make selling or listing these multimillion dollar places, cleaning that toilet pays a small fortune. That’s why they do it. And actually if they don’t want to clean the toilet they could hire someone to do it for $25/hr.
If you don’t like a job that makes you an on call servant of other people, for personal services beyond the essential work of the job, then take a different job. On the other hand a lot of your work may come to you by personal recommendations from prior clients, who may not be making that recommendation if you had not gone far beyond the essential work required. Face it, its a morally lousy industry, so either deal with it or get out.
What’s the real-estate company’s cut, and the agent’s personal commission, on a $10 million sale in NY City?
NYC's Upper East Side was Manhattan's only Republican district in the 1970s.
It was known as the Silk Stocking District. Its people were "Rockefeller Republicans" -- Republicans in the mold of John Lindsay and Jacob Javits.
I don't when it stopped being Republican.
Cry me a river. I do more than that per 20 patients per week as a nurse. And fouler tasks
These guys are making $250 to $400k on a $11,000,000 sale
What do they do that’s more work than a nurse for that.
“What’s the real-estate company’s cut, and the agent’s personal commission, on a $10 million sale in NY City?”
Up to a 50/50 split. That’s not a grand per sale like this. At two to three sauce sales per year it’s… not a lot in ny but high end and with upward mobility. Ownership of such a firm is tremendous
Cry me a river. I have no sympathy for someone who makes a commission like theirs whining about anything.
BUT THEY WILL TRY, FOR THEIR COMMISION IS MORE THAN MOST PEOPLE MAKE IN A DECADE OF HARD WORK.
As they laugh all the way to the bank with the several hundreds of thousands in commission money, which will be used to create even more wealth via other investments being made. 🤣
So, unless you're stupid, which I doubt is the case, you would not do what you claim. 😋
Because referrals are a major part of being a successful RE Agent.
I would imagine that “impossible” restaurant reservations could be made if the proper people were bribed.
In the world of the wealthy the “impossible” can become very possible in a hurry.
Perhaps, but not always. Depends upon who currently holds the reservations. 🙂👍
Imagine a very high end restaurant with fifty tables.
It would not take a rocket scientist to figure out how to squeeze in one more table if absolutely necessary.
Lol.
Why would anybody pay $10 million to live in NYC?
Many of the townhouses in the Upper East Side are rented out for private school or UN diplomatic use.
