Russia said on Friday that Israeli strikes on Iran were unprovoked and in breach of the United Nations charter, accusing Israel of wrecking diplomatic efforts to strike a deal to allay Western concerns about Tehran's nuclear programme.

"Russia is concerned and condemns the sharp escalation in tensions between Israel and Iran," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state media.
President Vladimir Putin was getting real-time reports on the situation from Russia's SVR foreign intelligence service and the foreign and defence ministries, Peskov said.
In a detailed statement drawn up at Putin's behest, the Foreign Ministry fiercely condemned Israel and blamed the West for whipping up what it called anti-Iranian "hysteria."
"We strongly condemn the use of force by the state of Israel in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law," the ministry said.
"Unprovoked military strikes against a sovereign U.N. member state, its citizens, peaceful cities, and nuclear energy infrastructure are categorically unacceptable.
"The international community cannot afford to be indifferent to such atrocities, which destroy peace and damage regional and international security."

The Russians have already been paid off. We moved 20K Patriot missiles reserved for Ukraine and sent them to Israel. Putin knew and this was all discussed with him last Sunday/Monday when Trump Truthed that Russia could be helpful with Iran. Russia has to saber rattle but they are not going to do anything about it.
Unprovoked. Right.
Oct 7 and 50+ hostages after a year and a half mean nothing to them I guess.
Hello kettle! Look in the mirror rooskies.
Looks like a big war is brewing. This might end the rule of the Mad Mullahs in Iran—and that would be a good thing. It might also be the end of Bibi in Israel and his endless wars. Ideal outcome—a secular Iran maybe with the shah’s son on the thrown as a limited monarch. Still this could spin out of control fast if Turkey or Egypt gets in the fight. If Israel suffers any set back—we will be forced into the battle. Russia is too busy in Ukraine to get involved. It would be great if the Mullahs were forced to scale back their theocratic control and if Iran went back to the worship of Zoroaster.
But Iran’s continuing attack on Israel with their drones and missiles is okay?
LMAO
so says the biggest aggessor in the world!
STFU PUTIN!!!!
Was off the coast a few months after the USS Liberty incident. Plenty of Russians in the area also. Hope this doesn’t escalate but we know how the muzzies are.
As much as it pains me to say, he is right.
Putin Fanbois are incapable of feeling shame, but apparently their intellectual functioning, feeble as it is, is sufficient to detect that this is a situation where their onanistic support of Putin too obviously shameful for the issue to be clouded by their tactics of "lie or deny"
Tucker is a talk show host, not an expert on international strategic atomic matters.
Tucker slipped off to kookdom after being fired from Fox. In hindsight, maybe they saw the signs.
It's sad because I used to enjoy his show and O'Reilly before that.
