Ronald McDonald is gonna be salty about this list.

In a new nationwide ranking from Seating Masters, based on over 40,000 Yelp reviews, one burger chain’s golden spuds are un-fry-gettable, according to WWLP.

In-N-Out Burger topped the list — scoring a crispy 3.86 out of 5 average across 25 locations.

I've always said.....IN N OUT has as good a fries as anyone. To be honest, Five Guys has incredible fries too. So does Del Taco. Anyways...here in Texas...the IN N OUT Burger joints are always packed, lines around the parking lot. Yet they won't admit to themselves, IN N OUT is better than Whattburger. They live in denial here.

I like both “In ‘n’ Out” and “Five Guys”, but am also partial to the “Steak and Shake”. (Very skinny) My daughter likes Chick-Fil-A’s waffle fries, if they count.

The 5 Guys fries, for sure, and our new favorite fries, from Penn Station subs. Never tried In and Out.

Five Guys...and Wendy’s are good too.I also like Wendy’s because you can substitute a baked potato for fries.

Five guys are sinfully good. Heart attack grade but so so good. I don’t eat them. Maybe once a year. They are that bad for you but that good. If that makes sense.

>> McDonald’s... fries only mustered a 1.91 — second worst in the nation.

They did it to themselves, when they stopped using real lard.

the best fast-food french fries?... top 10 — and an NYC favorite made the grade...

For the marxist communist mostly-peaceful rioter, on the go. Doesn't have time to savor and sit down, and will have to eat quick between teargas canisters.

Five guys for still being cooked in peanut oil, Bojangles because there chicken has made them fried food masters, although there are none in south Fl. and the local bowling alley for still having old giant cut crinkle fries still fried in the same frier as everything else. But as we all know, it’s old fashioned plain ketchup that makes the fries.

Yeah, I’ll be honest. Sometimes you can get a bad batch of IN N OUT fries. Hard. But when you get a fresh batch, soft and smoking.....they are as good as any. IMHO.....

I haven’t done fast food since 1997, so I’m gonna have to take all y’all’s word for it.

The potato is as important as the cooking oil. In ‘n Out uses kennebec potatoes I believe.

Bojangles because their chicken has made them fried food masters

I never got the Bojangles thing when I lived in Georgia. The biscuits were good. What I remember most was that some outlets carried Patio Strawberry Soda. Wikipedia states that Pepsico's Patio brand has been dead for years.

Apparently, Popeye’s still uses beef tallow; their Cajun Fries are pretty good.

Julia Child thought that McDonald’s french fries really suffered from the switch to vegetable oil:

Five Guys has great French fries. I always ate some peanuts before my fries were ready. Their hamburgers were never any good. Fortunately the 2x Five Guys near closed down. So no more of these grease bombs for me.

Vinegar on French fries like the Brits do? This is ridiculous! Just give me the fries hot, crispy, salted/ And I will dip them ketchup 1-2 at a time
