Looks more like a Camaro/Firebird than a Mustang.
THIS is a Mustang:

I’m not seeing a connection. Not a single one.
Except they are the same color.

Meh. I had an `83 GT with a pushrod 5.0/4-spd that would require retorquing the whole chassis twice a year. It just wanted to come apart. Have a 2017 GT350 now and wouldn’t give it up. Much better product and a pisser to drive.
Curious what the “FX” package has that ties to the Fox-body. You can keep the teal paint, it’ll be out of fashion in two years.

What’s better than that?
I live near an AFBase. Fighter jets don’t take up this much attention

YES! Looks like a 66-67 fastback with the 289 hypo and a 3-speed. Badass ride!
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Some may disagree, but the Mustang II was the single most important Mustang ever.
Flame away.

HS friend had that (66) model convertible. It had been her uncle’s!
Fun ride .... fun memories.

I’ve owned a ‘91 LX 5.0 Hatchback, ‘94 GT 5.0, ‘97 SVT Cobra and an ‘03 Mach 1. I sold em all at some point.

Absolutely! Ex of mine had a 64 1/2 with the 289, she got it in a divorce settlement. Had lots of fun with that car 😁
To: Spacetrucker
It’s a 65 based on the grill (vertical bar is missing in the corral).
To: Responsibility2nd
The Mustang II was a misspelled Maverick...

I’ve always believed that the Cobra version was VERY underpowered for the name of it. Would have loved to have seen a blown-out 427 in that car.
To: DoubleNickle
Fair enough - wasn’t looking that closely, first glances and all 😆
