In a stunning escalation of the war of words between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump on Thursday, the SpaceX tycoon announced that the company would begin “decommissioning” its Dragon spacecraft “immediately,” a threat to America’s space launch capabilities fueled by his personal animosity for the President. Musk later walked back the threat.

Yeah Elons the bad guy. He put his business and reputation on the line helping Trump get elected. He did it again exposing all the corruption in government. What did Trump do? Appoint morons to the positions to exact justice knowing good and well they wouldn’t do a damn thing. Trump lied to us again. I’m sorry for the die hard MAGAs on FR but we’ve been conned. I really believe Trump has no intention of administering justice.
I believe Trump fired the first shot in that war.

It takes two to tango. I believe Pres. Trump was insulted by Musk for saying the big beautiful bill was an abomination. And he said it publicly. if he didn’t like it, ok fine, but you don’t have to say it to the world and embarrass the president. Then I suppose pres. Trump made some sort of threat to counter, and back and forth they go. Kind of reminds me of two spoiled brats unfortunately, because I have great respect for both of these guys.

I still think much of this war of words is an attempt to reestablish the proper relationship between a President and a powerful outside business person.
The worst thing Trump needs is to allow an oligarchy label to become real. And we know for sure that the Fake News, Dems, and Bushie-tailed RINOs are just waiting for opportunities to support that narrative.
Bringing in an independent head of NASA was a good move of President Trump’s part.
Musk likely now knows that Mars is unattainable, at least during his lifetime, and is looking for a convenient off-ramp.

More likely, he is an eccentric with a volatile temper and a very fragile ego... and Trump does not cater to such people. Quite the opposite via his bluntness and disregard for “feewings”. Musk just got butthurt over a few issues... and in a way, I really can’t blame him. But he’ll get over it. The fact that he supported Trump despite all the damage it did to his business and rep... proves that he is capable of reason and concern for America.

I, unfortunately, have to agree with Musk.
Trump has made some progress but it’s obvious the DOJ and FBI are still
deep state.
No indictments with literally billions found to have been stolen.
No congressional pushback on the over reaching judiciary.
No mass deportations
No tax cuts. .
Carville was right - Trump only lasted 90 days.
It was after Trump stupidly posted that we could save billions by cancelling Elins government contracts, forgetting that one of them is shuttling astronauts and supplies to the space station with the SpaceX dragon.
It’s certainly starting to look that way.
