Trump Scraps NASA Nomination for SpaceX-Linked Jared Isaacman as Musk Exits DOGE
Observer ^ | 6/2/24 | Alexandra Tremayne-Pengelly

Just days before his expected Senate confirmation, billionaire tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman—closely aligned with Elon Musk’s SpaceX—has been withdrawn as President Donald Trump’s nominee for NASA administrator. The announcement came on the same day Musk stepped down from the government’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and follows renewed scrutiny of Isaacman’s past political donations to Democratic candidates. A new nominee for NASA administrator will be announced soon, according to Trump, who said he will prioritize someone who is “mission aligned” and can put America “first in space.”

Probably the reason for Musk's temper tantrum.

Probably the reason for Musk's temper tantrum.

Musk thought he was elected President, so much for his brilliance.

I admire Musk for a number of things, and not so much on others. Either way, I did not vote for him for President, I voted for President Trump.

Exactly, besides, Musk should be aiming his sights on Congress, it's their bill, their reconciliation, their committees.....

The problem is that Trump thinks BBB is the best deal he can get and he wants it. Musk thinks we can do a lot better, and not onboard a few more trillions in debt.

No, identifying half a trillion in waste and grift and having Trump send up cuts of 2% of that made Musk mad. Did you cheer when Musk was identifying the wasted trillions? I sure did. You might be cheering a 2% cut in it. I’m not.

Sounds like Elon kinda sht the bed on his way out.

‘Tis a pity... now he won’t have any of the say he wanted as the BBB moves thru the Senate and committee...

Let’s be honest, everyone liked the proposed DOGE cuts, but Musk needed to work with Congress to get those in a bill.

Secondly, am I the only one who used to cringe when Musk was showing up at hundreds of House meetings and hundreds of off site type events ? Kinda creepy.

Musk was hired to do a job. He did it. It was up to TRUMP to make sure the GOP wrote a good bill.

Trump and the GOP shit all over Musk’s work...

Some of you idiots sound like Democrats...

Trump said today that the guy’s a democrat and one of the benefits of winning elections is “you get to put a guy in from your party.”

^^ This ^^

One thing is certain, if Trump 1.0's tax policy is allowed to expire, the (R)'s will loose the mid-terms and Trump 2.0's last two years will be ground to a halt along with just about everything MAGA.

I am not concerned about Musk. This is not about Musk, it's a far bigger endeavor than rewarding Musk for his support, and in the end it will be beneficial for Musk too.

We are all being lied to with regards as to what the Big Beautiful Bill really is, and it is not a spending bill either. This information comes from Stephen Miller who is an honest man that shills for no one, including Trump. It codifies a majority, if not all, of the EOs Trump has signed since entering the White House. It funds the removal of the illegal population, and completion of the border wall. It eliminates DEI, CRT, paying for the gender reassignment operations. Removing transgenders from the military, by law, not just through EOs. Stephen Miller said a lot more on the Charlie Kirk Show, which hopefully I can hind later on & post it tomorrow.

Apparently even Steve Bannon is actually unaware as to what is in the Big Beautiful Bill, and so is Musk.

So, count me in as a supporter of the Big Beautiful Bill from a half-hearted supporter for the sake of Trump, and not because of what I knew previous and also believed that it will raise the national debt.

However, after listening to Stephen Miller I am convinced that when he says they are lying I believe that is the reality. After all, I think we have all seen & know that they lie to protect Democrats while lying with impunity to smear Republicans, and pull out all stops when it comes to lying against anything associated with Trump that would be considered a positive for Trump.

And the irony is, if that scenario does happen...Musk himself would be the subject of non-stop (D) house investigations and subpoenas. The rats have already said as much.

He and his DOGE team / Company chiefs will be spending most of their time on capitol hill defending themselves trying to ward off all manor of bogus lawfare charges.

They gave him 130 days to find waste and fraud, he found it. Then their bill comes out, Trump’s BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL... that actually continues to FUND most of that fraud.

Pointing that out is apparently now “anti-Trump”...

... and yes... I’d rather see this whole Country in cleansing flames than allow Trump and the Quislings in the GOP to back-stab us into debt servitude.

Raising the DEBT and advocating for repeal of the debt ceiling is not a Mid-term winnging issue.
