“ But despite the family reporting the horrifying behavior to ACS and the NYPD — and filing a complaint against Jackson on what would be felony charges — she has yet to be arrested, the family said.”

One word answer to her question: LaKeisha.

Doesn’t matter if there’s video showing child abuse, it’s ‘LaKeisha’.

And this is the second sitter supplied by the “Administration of Children Services.” You see, the first one smoked marijuana on the job. The mother did notice injuries a while back ... but had to be out providing for the family ... more details:

Government-funded child care is a jobs program for those unemployable elsewhere.

Twenty years ago, you could pay your local “granny” to watch your kids. You would have known her for years since she was a Sunday school or grade school teacher before she retired. Government regulated those neighborhood babysitters out of business and now force you to pay unqualified deadbeats to watch your child.

My Ex used to teach in the inner-city school system at a time when “Home Visits” were required. She visited a home where the 1st grader lived with her mom and grandmother. There wasn’t a book, magazine, or comic book anywhere. The mother was 18 and the grandmother was 33. Tell me they’re not from a screwed up culture.

The mother is white, so it is a probability that the kids are white also. The story isn't about her - seems like she, while a single mother, has a job.

The alternative is for her to be on welfare and be home. The paid for babysitter arrangement allows her to work and be a productive member of society.

There’s something really really wrong with these people. I wouldn’t have anyone like her anywhere near my property.

I have a funny feeling that significantly more money is spent employing La’Keysha than the mother actually makes (especially after taxes) being a productive working woman.

I think a lot of their ‘culture problem’ can be explained by the fact that 72% of black children have no father.

One problem is that many, if not most of these absent fathers you wouldn't want anywhere near the children they fathered. They think and act like crazed animals and really shouldn't be around kids at all.

She walks in so casually, and unpacks and presents the belt like she is showing them a new shirt, and calmly walks them to the bed to bend over and get belted. It looks to me like this is a daily ritual, and has nothing to do with behavior... and she's clearly enjoying it.

Also, a belt or paddle is only needed once they're older and significantly bigger and an open hand is no longer as effective as a correction tool.

I found a little more information.

The mother had escaped an abuse situation making her a single mother.

She is a caseworker for the elderly.

Add to absent fathers that they now have 4-5 generations of children being raised by teen moms. Nobody mentally or emotionally matured past 15 years old before having kids. In some cases great grandmom is under 50 years old.

You get what you pay for.

When you get it from the government for free, you get it good and hard.

It’s easy to think of it that way, but I don’t think that’s the case. Many would surprise you and be beneficial in raising the children. Before the War on Poverty, the black family was a cohesive, religious, unit who loved their children and valued the family.

Before the WOP, most black homes had a Mom and Dad that worshiped Christ and tried to keep God’s commandments, and they brought their children up to do the same.

Those days are LONG gone now.

I lived in those days and am trying to remember if a teacher visited. I do remember The pastor coming by for a pastoral visit. It was a very old farm house and mother was pretty embarassed. We lived about 100 yards from the school so they could see the house from the school.
