Tucker Carlson said he's not sure he can support the Republican party after a Florida congressman called for Gaza to be nuked.
Congressman Randy Fine, who was recently elected to replace Mike Waltz in Florida as the preferred candidate of President Trump, made the jaw dropping comments in a Fox News interview last month.
He said: 'In World War 2 we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese.
'We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here in Gaza.
'There is something deeply wrong with its culture and it needs to be defeated.'

Carlson, speaking on his podcast alongside Glenn Greenwald, said he was so taken aback by the comments that he initially thought they couldn't have been made by a real politician.
'I text a friend of mine in Congress,' Carlson said. 'This is a person who I confirmed is a real person. I didn't believe it at first... I didn't believe he was really a member of Congress.'
'It's evil. How can you say something like that and not get expelled from Congress? How can that person still be in the Republican party?'
Carlson went on to say that Fine's comments had made him question whether he could remain loyal to the Republican party.
'I don't know if I can support a party with someone like Randy Fine... that's so disgusting.
'So we're gonna nuke Gaza because of its culture? We're going to kill everyone because we don't like their culture?' he repeated incredulously.
'There are Christians in Gaza. Muslims in Gaza. To say there is some Gazan culture that's cohesive.'
-snip-
But Fine is a Jewish Trump-backed pick who won 83 percent of the Republican primary vote

Carlson by inference would have been against waging total war on Germany and Japan in order to achieve their unconditional surrender. He is on the wrong side of History.
The sentence “That needs to be the same here in Gaza.” refers back to “we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese”

Possibly, but the Dude who made those remarks should also make that clarification.
Tucker is a backstabber.
Tucker Carlson ‘told colleague he “hated Trump passionately” and was excited about not having to cover him after 2020 election loss,’ court filings claim
“What is this in reference to?”
Actually, Blue Octopus - Antisemitic Symbol from the (German) Nazi days. First heard of it with Greta showing it off during her “From the River to the Sea” conversion.
If the hostages cannot be freed, nukes are the best option.
I am with God on this one we are all made in his image.
To kill the hostages for sure human beings made in God’s image.
Tucker’s going down the road of Savage and O’rielly. Bloom is off.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
I have friends who are also on that road. They simply cannot stay focused on the big picture and instead mindlessly stumble into the Marxist-Democrat camp. Sad.
Re: Clarification

I agree that Representative Fine needs to clarify the point of his statement. Tucker Carlson has a large audience.
First you have to make sure the invisible magic anti-atomic curtain is up between Gaza and Israel... or were you planning on nuking Israel, too?
The truth hurts but only to those who don't like the truth.
Glenn Greenwald Scandal Proves Tolerance Is Not A Virtue — It’s High Time Conservatives Start Acting Like It
“’So we’re gonna nuke Gaza because of its culture? We’re going to kill everyone because we don’t like their culture?’ he repeated incredulously. ‘There are Christians in Gaza. Muslims in Gaza.”
Yeah Tucker you moron. Their culture is to rape and slaughter Jews on October 7th. Their culture is nothing but killing Jews and terrorism. And I call total BS on Gaza Christians. There might be a few nuts there, but there was no Christian culture in Gaza.
Tucker is out in left field on this one.
I think copious amounts of napalm should do it. It pisses me off when people try to “stop the fighting” or “send food to Gaza”.
That can happen on any given day if the enemy will surrender unconditionally, lay down all their weapons and escort all the kidnap victims to the nearest IDF position.
The IDF wouldn’t fire another shot.
Well said. I have thought it often when I read comments from people here who want to see every Palestinian killed, including babies.
There’s no such thing as a “Palestine” or a “Palestinian.”
Yes there is. Go ahead and try to prove otherwise.
I also detest a lot about the GOP but I’m not ready to toss the baby out with the bathwater yet. My president is a Republican as I have always been. I’m stickin’ with him.
Tucker’s crossing the line into weirdo lately. Especially with the UFO stuff.
I don’t think he meant it literally, it is an expression. The guy’s point is that Gaza needs a serious enough wake up call that fear of such a wakeup call happening again will serve as a powerful deterrent. The author knows it’s just hyperbole, too but these days journalists and wanna be journalists use fake outrage over nothing to get clicks.
As when your Dad tells you to quit crying or he’ll give you something to cry about. He’s not going to kill you, but you aren’t sure of anything except you are alive only because he chooses not to.
The problem with Gaza is that there are foreign powers supporting Palestinian terrorism and the punishment, if it is to work, has to impact those foreign powers, not just the Palestinians.
And I think the antisemitic folks in the US and Europe like to use the Palestinians as much as the Iranians or muslims do, to handicap Israel, which might explain why Palestinian terrorism is tolerated and even celebrated in the West, and why the media goes to great lengths to cover it up.
As if Gaza is in any way comparable to what the USA took four years to defeat.
I don’t know what’s gotten into TC lately. One Republican says something stupid and Tucker’s done with the party?
