Democrat/Progressive

Blue is your color. You consider yourself progressive and your politics reflect that. You are most likely pro-choice, pro-environment, and pro-gun control. Religion may not be very important to you, but you are likely to support tax increases to fund social programs.

Unless you are seeking the solitude of a small town, you will most likely want to focus your attention on the Front Range, particularly Denver and Boulder. While well-known mountain towns such as Aspen and Vail tend to lean left, more abundant job opportunities and lower housing costs in Denver and Boulder generally fit the needs of more people.

Home to the University of Colorado, beautiful Chautauqua Park, and the impressive Flatirons, Boulder has industry, culture, and scenery. The current median list price of homes in Boulder is $995,000. While the city as a whole leans progressive, the following neighborhoods are where you are sure to find blue neighbors:

Well this article should be updated, with fire bombing by an illegal immigrant, during a peaceful vigil.

While the city as a whole leans progressive . . . you still can be killed by a Molotov cocktail-wielding terrorist with a 7th Century view of the world.

Why would any republican voluntarily live in CO? The state government is hellbent on imposing its far left agenda on every area of the state.

I suspect Colorado is much like Oregon and Washington.
A normal state dominated by liberal infection cities.

I love how the left phrases their hard-core militant views as
“leaning”.

I had the occasion to visit Boulder in 1997 for work and later spent 3 months in Greenwood Village helping a startup ISP. That was enough exposure to strike Colorado off my list of places to relocate from San Diego.

To colonize it until it turns red?
(I'm content where I am, but if someone can rustle up a substantial party, I would sponsor a pilgrim or two.)

My son is very conservative. He just moved to Colorado Springs. He said that he can see Pike’s Peak from his front window. (That’s one reason)

He’s an aerospace engineer and there’s apparently quite the space industry in Colorado. He was a contractor at NASA and just switched over to the space defense side of things. You’re choices are kind of limited as to where you can live.

This transition has been going on longer than the pot and DNC.

As a young man growing up there, I remember the phrase “Colorful Colorado”.

My mother’s family homesteaded in the 1880s in Granby, CO. My Father’s family immigrated in the 1890s to a small farm near Trinidad, CO.

I have my undergraduate and an MS from Colorado State (Fort Collins). Last week, I visited Fort Collins for research meetings, and I was shocked. I haven’t been there for 20 years, and it made me nauseous to see the urban sprawl and the drastic changes that have occurred.

My two brothers and I still have a ranch in SE Colorado. I don’t suspect that we will keep it after my mother passes.

Where I live, in the mountains west of Castle Rock, it’s blue huge Trump flags everywhere. Venture along the Platte river back into Denver, you’ll find tent encampments and intrusive window washers at every corner. It’s a forbidden zone for anyone who’s sane.
