FYI, Those bombers that were hit HAVE to be out in full view due to nuclear treaty obligations

On February 21, 2023, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia would suspend its participation in the New START treaty. He stated that Russia would no longer allow US and NATO inspectors access to its nuclear facilities.

I couldn’t imagine this happening to our parked B-52 bombers on the tarmac at Barksdale AFB. They can be seen in full view not far from the interstate.

Russia is wiping entire villages — and even cities — off the map in Ukraine, week after week, without asking anyone’s permission, least of all Donald Trump.

Ukraine is under relentless attack. When they strike back, they focus on military targets. In contrast, Russia retaliates by bombing civilian homes and apartment buildings.

That’s what matters.

Yet some expect Ukraine to check with Trump before defending itself in a war that’s been raging for over three years? That’s not just unrealistic — it’s insulting.

I just heard on the radio there’s activity around nuclear warhead installations in Russia.

That POTUS was kept in the dark is inexcusable.

Very costly U.S. Strategic Bombers can be taken out in the same way by anyone with access to inexpensive drones

And that formerly obscure bit of knowledge is now in the minds of every malcontent on the globe.

This attack by the Ukraine was a real wake up call for the United States at many levels.

It is far more than a Russian Peal Harbor, it's a military landmark event that is akin to Billy Mitchell sinking the ex-German light cruiser Frankfurt and battleship Ostfriesland in July 1921.

At the very least, we owe the Ukrainians a huge debt of thanks because they have highlighted the dangers of the Chinese purchase of huge swaths of land near critical US military installations and the infiltration of thousands, and perhaps tens of thousands, of Chinese special forces sleeper agents across the US Southern border under Joe Biden's illegal alien invasion.

This is not to mention the thousands of people confirmed on Terrorist watch lists that Biden knowingly released into the United States

But I do not believe that the SALT treaty is even active, and hasn’t been for many years now. Furthermore, it was between the U.S., that never signed it, and the Soviet Union that no longer exists. So, is this claim even relevant let alone valid?

The various people here and elsewhere who are jeering this and cheering that seem to be of the opinion that escalating this to the point of nukes flying will somehow spare them.

IMO which batch of people own some village 7 time zones away is far less important than making sure the people in the US aren’t radioactive dust.

If Flynn knows this then Trump knows this. This is an utter disaster and now we know why Trump and Putin have said nothing. That it's a SALT requirement that these planes be out in the open so we can track them by satellite 24/7 means that a bunch of clever fucks took advantage of a nuclear arms control treaty obligation to target Putin's planes. This undermines everything we have done in nuclear arms control - and treaty monitoring and verification of these things is a big industry in the State Department, in civilian and military intelligence and in the DOE nonproliferation organization.

Everyone in the arms control community is going to be pissed off royally. Their life's work was just shredded. I personally know a couple of the ambassadors who negotiated these treaties.

Diplomatically it removes the presumption that everyone assigned to embassies around the world for treaty verifications are acting in good faith and using information gathered as confidence building and for no other purpose. There is now probable cause to harass them, dupe them, or evicting them and call them liars if they try to claim you are violating a treaty.

The Russians can now immediately start hiding their strategic assets. With this kind of loss they must.

So, Da Nanga and Linda are now in the frame for treason. They better explain themselves really good. Who in western intelligence and military was involved with Ukraine in planning this strike. Their careers are cooked and any of our allies involved are cooked. This utterly undermines our ability to negotiate and arms control treaty with anyone be it Iran or NK or the major of Londonistan. It makes US diplomacy a joke.

If it was our intel guys and military planners who helped the Ukrainians then they are toast and it will be a bloody purge from bottom to top no holds barred. God forbid it was a NATO ally, Five Eyes or anyone else we hold close and dear.

And it will surely make Putin feel more vulnerable causing the Russians to inch towards hair-trigger nuclear alert because they cannot afford another strike like this one.

I presume at this point Z is cooked.

It's like a supervolcano just blew up. You wake up and the world is a very different place and all the things you thought you knew you no longer know. Now what do you do.

FYI, Those bombers that were hit HAVE to be out in full view due to nuclear treaty obligations.

The treaty, which Russia suspended in Feb 2023, doesn't specify that bombers must be parked outside for verification purposes.

The fake news on FR has becoming laughable.
