Incredible new post-apocalyptic novel based on conservative ideals and current events
Hey folks, I’ve just finished a newly released novel titled “Ivy Moon Total Eclipse” and I have tell people about it. Trust me, it’s like nothing you’ve ever read. It’s by a guy named Bill Furney who lives in North Carolina where I live and the story takes place in the eastern part of the state. Technically, it’s a young adult novel, but in the vein of Hunger Games, which simply means there’s no sex, drugs, or profanity. But the story revolves around adult themes and conservative principles that most people here will appreciate.
This is the second book on what the author calls a duology. The first book is titled, “Ivy Moon Last Girl on Earth.” While it’s not necessary to have read the first book, you will be far more vested in the characters if you do. But the second book – WOW!!! Liberals will HATE it because it plays off their duplicity and “New World Order” agenda. Not only that, it’s full of science that takes things like RNA vaccines and other breaking edge technology to their “unnatural conclusion” when left in the hands of liberal world elitists. I can’t say much more than that without spoiling the story. But trust me, the final twist at the end will blow you away. Here’s how the book summary reads: ________________________________________ Ivy Moon’s quest to save her mother and what is left of humanity continues in this compelling post-apocalypse duology of survival, mystery and discovery. Once known as the anti-Greta Thunberg (a title she shuns), Ivy learns about her past, drawing on her passion for truth and science to prevail against all odds. Stripped of her memory, her handful of friends, and Tonka, the West Highland Terrier that became her link to sanity, the girl who can’t even remember her age sets off on a journey through a countryside where nature is re-surging with a vengeance. Confronted by growing hordes of animals, decaying cities, and a cult of elites desperate to end her life, Ivy fights to overcome her fears and the horrible truth as to what killed mankind. But will knowing the truth save her and the last remnants of civilization?
More than a tale of survival, Ivy Moon Total Eclipse is a cautionary tale for our times. Furney does an amazing job of pulling back the curtain of contemporary social and scientific issues to afford us a glimpse into a frightening future reflected in today’s headlines. While many will consider this to be a work of science fiction, almost all of the science woven into the story exists today. Lest there be any doubts, the caution in this tale (like that in Orwell’s 1984) isn’t about the misuse of science, it is about the capacity of some people to use science and technology for personal gain, often in the belief that the outcome, as horrible and inhuman as it may be to others, justify the means they employ.
Don’t let the bit about Greta throw you off. You’ll get it if you read the book. Here’s a link to the Amazon page and the author’s link. I can’t recommend this book enough! Enjoy!

Having read this book as well, I definitely agree with this review!
Having grown up with a steady intake and love of action/adventure and sci-fi and then developing a fascination with surviving dystopian and apocalyptic events, this was definitely in my wheelhouse. What made it even more enjoyable reading for me was the fact that it was set in North Carolina (my home State) and who doesn’t like reading and identifying with known locations?
Honestly, the hubris and narcissism displayed by the antagonists was familiar to anyone who has listened to the accusations, mutterings, and claims by the leftists in our world. Not to mention the demands those leftists regularly make in order to save the planet.
Yeah, put this one in your list of books to read.
