After spending their entire lives indoors and in cages, these beagles who survived being experiments on in laboratories got to experience sunlight and grass for the first time. Some of the liberated pups weren’t sure what to make of the grass but they quickly realized how happy freedom felt.

Beautiful moments
I met a guy that takes in rescue beagles. He has an older beagle (was a lab dog) as a pet to help teach the new dogs. He said most of the beagles are a huge mess due to their life in the lab, and it takes a lot of work to get them half-way normal.
We got a rescue mutt from a shelter - he was only 4 months old or so. We got him inside the house and he just stood there. Bewildered by the set of stairs that faced him! We actually had to move his feet with our hands to get him to go up them the first time. I guess if most of your life is spent in a crate and a concrete floor you wouldn’t know what to do.
.
....and now they know what fleas feel like!
Poor things need to be treated like kings for the rest of their years.
You can almost feel their freedom to run and play...
What kind of monster could harm such sweet and adorable creatures? I can’t even.......
I cared for two Beagles in my life so far. I can’t even read this.
Thank you very much for this follow-up post.
As a network tech project mgr in my early career, found myself in a pharma research lab in Ann Arbor waling into a surgical room with a dozen beagle “cardiac patients” all in various stages of open heart surgeries.
I asked, shouldn’t I have a mask on? (decades before Covid BS)
The researcher smiled and said said “oh, they’re not going to make it”
Dangerous to be a Beagle in a University town.
Not sure how many millions spent there before cancelling the new drug certification they were going for with the company/building changing names three times. PD, WL, PF
There is no statute of limitations for Crimes Against Humanity and there are a number I could list that are guilty.
The NIH didn’t just torture beagles. Cats, mice, monkeys, rabbits, whatever they could torture. Animal “research” turns human beings into monsters and serves no good purpose.
I’m all for going after Fauci and his plotting co-conspirators to the end of their days
