Is the US Furthering Persecution of Orthodox Christians in Ukraine?
New American Prophet ^ | May 31, 2025 | Frederick Wolf Jr.

The US is essentially “facilitating the persecution of Christians in Ukraine by supporting the Kiev government, which has been waging a purge campaign against the nation’s canonical Orthodox church,” American journalist Tucker Carlson has said. Carlson made the statement during an interview with a former Ukrainian MP, Vadim Novinsky, released on Friday.

The Ukrainian government has been cracking down on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) for months, which it views as having ties to Russia.

In before the Ukraine harpies/apologists make excuses for this - and stuff like ending elections, Nazis and shelling their own (former) citizens.

Totalitarian regimes dislike folks that don’t follow their script.

—Ukraine also cracked down on journalists that dare say something they disagree with (jail them, beat them up), closed print papers, shut down radio stations, blocked Ukrainian websites.

—Ukraine also banned opposition parties, cancelled elections, etc.

Ukraine is a totalitarian regime and if you disagree with the regime or dare say anything derogatory about the methods, you’ll feel their wrath.

The Orthodox Church may actually mention how mistreating certain people because they are ethnic Russian, how banning the use of a language, the death and displacement of people is horrible. I think they do this more out of their Christian values than any connection to Russia which they officially severed.

But in a totalitarian regime everyone is expected to “toe the line” and if you don’t, you get whacked on the head.

In America Mr. Z (the action hero in olive drab) is still celebrated as some Ukrainian patriot, being awarded “Person of the Year,” presented as a defender of democracy (ironic)... when in reality he’s a dictator. He’s just our dictator. We put him in power, and we want to keep him in power because he does our bidding, at least for a little while longer.

How he’s presented in Western “non-propagandist” media: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/time-magazine-person-year-volodymyr-4616782421

Totalitarian regimes simply do not tolerate any sort of free thought or any expression of values that contradicts their goals and methods.

That is as true in communist China or Ukraine today.

It was true in Nazi Germany, under Ceaușescu in Romania, the former DDR, under Castro in Cuba and the Soviet Union in the past...

These regimes and leaders see themselves and their methods as justified, they are right and represent the state. The “Greater good,” the end, justifies all means.

Anyone questioning the goals or methods is a threat.

That’s classic Neo-Soviet propaganda straight out of the Kremlin’s playbook — the same tired narrative we’ve seen before.

In reality, religion holds a deeply respected place in Ukrainian society. Kyiv actively supports religious freedom, and Ukraine remains one of the most devout countries in Europe — even more so than Russia in many respects.

However, when certain clergy are caught acting as covert agents for the Kremlin’s war machine, it’s only logical that they face increased scrutiny. It’s not about faith — it’s about national security.

Pure common sense, wouldn’t you agree?

Non-Orthodox Christians all over Russian occupied Ukraine are being killed and persecuted every week, with over 600 of their churches destroyed by Russian forces since Putin’s invasion.

Something to consider...we know that it’s the true church that the devil’s children want to annihilate.

Exacerbating a possible pending schism.

Fracture lines were drawn by who did or did not attend the “council” aka meeting at Crete, A.D. 2016.
