Where are Rand Paul’s alarm bells while judges dictate that the President cannot lay off government workers?

Where’s Rand Paul’s yelling about Lawfare forcing us to spend more?

When more companies move to the USA, they hire a lot of CITIZENS. Then less unemployment and more taxes come into our Treasury.

Kids - citizens but not taxpayers until they start working.

Does he really think he is telling everyone something that most informed people don’t already know?

The real political point is not the debt, but what is the political route to getting it down. Is the one immediate bill the only route? I don’t think so.

The political route should AT THIS TIME, within the GOP, (1) how to get the current House bill semi-modified and still get it across the line in that modified form in both houses, with (2) quid-pro-quo demands that it will get the votes now with understanding and assurances, the next fiscal year budget will make deeper cuts and if the GOP leadership reneges on that then the GOP political storm will totally stymie the GOP leadership going forward. Win now and live to fight another day rather than lose the entire thing now, because losing the current Trump 2017 tax cuts WILL cost the GOP House and Senate seats in 2026,and then what will the deficit hawks have - NADA.

Seems fine to many here.

Why not just do a national debt forgiveness like Biden’s student loan forgiveness or just do another inflation reduction act and give everyone a billion dollars and then then everyone can pay off their share of the national debt.

What could go wrong.

You know what our government will do. The same thing they always do.

Print more money and inflate their way out of the debt by devaluing their debts essentially.

They will lie and give someone what they promised at face value, but that will be worth much less than when the promise was made.

It’s a form of lying, and / or stealing. But it’s OK when you’re the government.

Rand seems more concerned about the debt than when obama or biden was in office. He’s become a clownshow.

Kids - citizens but not taxpayers until they start working.

And they're all too busy with their iPhones and PLay Stations. They need to get off their butts and get some skin in the game.

Another Massie.

Massie screeches about the Debt then votes for Biden’s Debt Ceiling.

How many years has Rand Paul been in office? And now he wants to be a PITA when Trump is trying to do something. Grandstanding Jackass.

Yes, it is disgusting that about half of our population pays ZERO income tax. Everyone should pay something—even if it is only a dollar.

The more they spend, the more they tax us.

They more they tax us, the more they spend.

They’re not going to cut because spending is their only ‘solution’ to every problem.

Congressional salaries should be inversely linked in some way to rises in the national debt. Make them feel some financial pain and the spending will slow down.

Sure! Tell 6 year old Suzi to go get a job. There are 72 million kids under the age of 17 in the US.

There are 55 million over the age of 70 in the US. We got to get on those lazy old sloths, too.

And those pariah stay-at-home moms taking care of the family and being traditional. Feminism has arrived, ladies! Go get a job.

Perhaps you could quietly petition Mr. Robinson for a change of your handle to liberate you from what seems to have become an unimaginable cheerleading burden.

Many here will surely suggest replacement handles. If you were but to ask.

Not sure you’ve noticed, but 95 percent of people on your threads think Rand doesn’t have much good to say. Most think he’s a fraud. I came to that conclusion months ago.

I’ve been saying he’s the new McCain. The media love him because he opposes Trump. The few freepers that like him somehow believe he actually is doing something with his grandstanding.

He’s not.
