Piffle - my town is just a wide space on the road, one general store, one restaurant and one tavern/restaurant. Oh, and a post office.

I worked in a summer camp in a small village during my college years. I remember the big news in town one year is that they got curbs in the main street going thru the village. It did have a light, but only a flashing one.

Upstate New York is a great place; too bad it is overshadowed by NYC and Albany. Elise Stefanik would make a wonderful governor.

Over 30 years ago I lived in Boones Mill, Virginia - population 231 in 2003 for a few years.
It was as boring as heck, so I left. It was actually even more boring than
Boring, Oregon - population 2484 in 2025.
