Massholes are the worst drivers in America.
Only ones close are anyone who drives a Dodge Ram in Texas or New Mexico.

I grew up with a lot of poor kids who thought the same way.

Californians. Stop lights do not exist nor stop signs.

You’re right. They have a low fatality rate in their state because their roads are so congested and slow, but give them a little runway...

When I went to high school in the 70s, driver’s ed was taught by the physics teacher. He seemed to believe that teenage drivers were out to break the laws of physics, but told them they were would be punished by natural forces.
There were problems on his test asking how many foot-pounds of force was generated when a 3000-pound car hit a bridge abutment at 60 miles an hour.

I’d raced motorcycles in high school and was used to high speeds but my dad was an insurance adjuster who investigated interstate car crashes. He showed me his photos to make an impression on me. It made a big impact. I didn’t mess around on the road.

I thought it was only me that notice that about Dodge Ram drivers. Cut you off, tailgate, never use turn signals, and often cruse through red lights.

And oilfield trash, in general. Race neutral.
Of course, I was nearly sideswiped by a Mexican guy driving a Ram and blowing through a stop sign in Pecos this morning. He was going about 65 in a 35.
So you might be right.

In high school driver’s ed we were shown Highway Patrol films of horrible crashes and they were bloody and gruesome and we knew they weren’t fake Hollywood blood and gore................

The tractor-trailer driver, Kadyn DeWayne Ainsworth, 19, was estimated to be driving about 20 mph and failed to yield the right of way when Mclntosh crashed into the truck. The report did not indicate whether Ainsworth was cited or charged, the outlet reported. I don't see how they could charge the trucker for failing to yield to a car going so fast he probably never saw it before impact.
