Memorial Day marks the time we remember those who have fallen in service of our country. It’s wonderful that many Americans take time out to honor those who died that we might be free.
One aspect of military service that is often neglected these days is the multitude of official prayers and acknowledgements of God through the two and a half centuries of America as a nation.

I watched the Memorial Day concert at the US Capitol last night as I do every year. It’s always special and done so well. I hope it continues even if Gary Sinise isn’t able to do it...Joe Mantegna wasn’t the host with him last night.
